Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SingaporeWas strongly encouraged to check-in into another building (Gem Premier - owned under Veris Hotel) to avoid noise from staying at lvl 1 of Veris Hotel. After checking in, there's no toilet paper and the blinds are faulty, allowing small windows to be peaked through. The floor tiles were uneven as well. Also, we would have to make our way back to Veris Hotel for the complimentary hotel breakfast which could be inconvenient for old folks. Requested for breakfast to be packed as takeaway for the next morning as we would be checking out and making our way to the airport but the reception staff rejected our request. As a result we didn't have breakfast and lunch until our flight landed back in Singapore at 3pm+. During payment, was told extra 4% bank charges would be incurred while the other 2 hotels I booked at Hanoi only charges me a 3%.
Located in a quiet alley away from busy streets. Greeted by Jenny who was friendly and helpful at the start but didn't check in or answer our query promptly as the day follows.

IrelandUnfortunately this hotel didn't live up to the standards as expressed in other people's reviews or the 8 star that is advertised as. Upon check-in our receptionist did not inform us where the restaurant is, or about the emursion button in your room that you need to switch on in order to get hot water or enquire about our stay and offer any tips for our time here. In the room, there was black mould on the window frame in the bathroom, the whole bathroom floor got very wet during a shower and with a lack of towels made it extremely dangerous that one could possibly slip while walking barefoot in there.
The location was good and the bed was good.

United KingdomAir conditioning unit was very old and no very powerful the room often got very stuffy the bathroom got unbearably hot. Staff were difficult. One day we had someone asking to check our hot water at 07:30 even though we were still asleep. The clear also tryed to come into our room without knocking at 08:20. Lucky I heard them very loudly talking outside our thin walled room so was able to stop them coming in. unfortunately they early morning talking continued tonight our stay. My last memory of the hotel will be how when we checked out the receptionist simple said “your check out” without looking me in the eye and said with cold tone. I wouldn’t stay again.

ArgentinaShower has to be prepared by guest 25-30 min in advance and hot water only lasted for 5 minutes. We took two cold showers in winter. Wi-Fi quality was not good in our room, we couldn’t open some webpages. Tour agency from the hotel is not recommendable, we paid a 5-star tour to Ha Long Bay and we got the a small boat docked next to our room ruining all the view.
Staff was extremely helpful and polite, specially Jenny. Location is great, in the heart of old quarter. At walking distance of most of the locations.

IrelandWe only stayed one night but the hotel was just perfect. It’s location is right in the old quarter, the rooms are clean/spacious, and the staff are lovely! The staff helped us book a tour to Sa Pa and we got a lovely big breakfast early before we went. Couldn’t rate our stay any better!
