It’s simple but it was great for our family.

The location (it’s about 10 minutes walk 4 minute cycle) from the main part of Tam Coc with a backdrop of limestone mountains and rice paddies. The hostess Nga and her family are wonderful - extremely thoughtful, kind and provided great advice on trips and the best way to see things. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful (amazing honey and homemade jam) kids loved having the free bikes available and the pool to cool off

The time I spent at Sunshine Homestay was just AMAZING. I think I have never met such nice people like owners of this place. Always smiling, extremely helpful and just so kind. I arrived to the homestay 6h before check in and they prepared room for me immediatelly and let me start enjoying Tam Coc from the very first minute there. When I was waiting for the room I got some delicious food and coffee. The same thing happened on my last day. They let me stay in my room till 5pm so I can take a shower and rest before my train. I also got some fruit so I won't be hungry on my way to the next town in Vietnam. I also got all tips about what to see in the area. There are a lot of bikes you can use for free as a guest of Sunshine. Swimming pool is quiet big and you can actually swim there. Breakfast is always tasty and you have few options to choose. Nephew of the owner (very very nice guy) is a taxi driver and he can drive you wherever you need for a very good price. There is actually nothing more you could ask for. Once again: 10/10

We were greeted by the lovely owner, she helped us to settle in the room very quickly and explained everything around the town and gave us a very helpful map. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious and the property itself was very pretty with a pool. There are also free bikes for rent. The breakfast is an amazing and very tasty. When we left the owner gave us some water and bananas for the way and took us on her bike to the bus stop.

It was an amazing beautiful place in de middel of beautiful rise fields and walking distance from Tam Coc nice center/restaurants. The swimmingpool was beautiful with the best view. The breakfast was delicious and we ate it on the rooftop with amazing views. The owners are so nice and always helping to arrange something. They even woke up in the middle of the night to arrange pick up from the nightbus. If you want heaven in Tan Coc go to Tam Coc Sunshine HOMESTAY. Let the pictures speak for themselves.

Súper friendly staff. They explained everything for us, give us a map and tell where to go, bike/motorbike rent in the house (bike is free) and some tips like where to park or eat. Nice room with a beautiful view to the garden. Tasty breakfast included. Perfect location near to town center but not too close tto be bothered with all the noise.

The homestay is lovely situated a little away from the main road in Tam Coc (easy to walk or bycicle). It is a little paradise. But most charming is the host family. I have been to Vietnam several times over a few years, but never met such a lovely and warm host family before. Wonderful people. „My home“ in Tam Coc.

The host was super nice and very flexible. Even let my friends who were staying in different hotel, to use the pool. Very serene atmosphere, at the same time 10 mins walk to Tam Coc center. I am very happy with the stay. Highly recommended for those who want to visit Tam Coc. You can also rent scooter and bikes from here.

Enjoyed everything.

Fantastic location overlooking the rice fields. Only a 5 minute walk to the main area and boat tour. The rooms are spacious and have a well sized private bathroom. The staff were brilliant and always there to help you out. Nice swimming pool with several loungers around it to relax in the afternoon heat. Breakfast for me was an omelette, bread, fresh juice, coffee, fresh fruit 👍

Everything was amazing.

Amazing homestay. The owner Nga was such an amazing host. Helped us tremendously by allowing us to hangout late into the evening and letting us use the bathroom and pool since we had a late night train. Breakfast was the best. Rooms were superb and the homestay was so cute and situated in a beautiful location only minutes from the main town.

The owner of the homestay was really helpful. We ran into some issues for our next stop ( power outages), she quickly resolved this and helped us with the transfer from Tam Coc to Mai Chau.

It was a little bit noisy early as they are renovating all the back rooms. Our rooms were very bright all night because they do not have block out curtains and the lights around outside by the pool were on until very late. The lights coming from the large drinks fridge out by the pool shown through all night in particular the twin room. This would have bothered me more if we stayed longer but we only had the one night. This can be fixed by some new block out curtains. The bikes are not in good shape at all, especially concerning when the brakes don't work. Even with the negatives I have mentioned I will give a 10 because the positives have far out weighed the negatives for us. The renovations will be done soon I'm sure and I do hope the bikes and curtains can be fixed at some point. I've included a photo of what my window looked like at 12.15am and the the bright fridge

We had a double mountain view room and a twin mountain view. In the twin room we had the beds pushed together which made a huge and very comfy bed. Our rooms were roomy enough and nice and cool. We loved the location, pool and the delicious breakfast. Most of all we loved Nga and the family, they really are all genuinely so friendly and helpful

Honestly everything was great. If I had to find a negative points I would say that the bikes given for free are a bit old/broken but good enough to make some tours around.

The home is located 5min away from the city center but right in the middle of the rice fields. The swimming pool is really enjoyable, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The highlight is really the owner who is charming and has gone way beyond our expectations to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. She helped us to continue our stay and even helped us a lot when we lost the keys of our scooter. Thanks a lot !

Beautiful and quiet homestay 5 min from the center of Tam Coc. We stayed in a new room, which was very spacious and clean. The owner was so friendly and her homemade fruit juice superb. Nice pool with cold beer to cool off. . Laundry service available at low cost.

No safety deposit box in the hotel rooms.

Host of this homestay is absolutely amazing! She is super friendly and provided a very complete overview of touristic activities which could be done in the region! Not seen this before during our 2 months’ travel in Vietnam/Cambodia/Laos. We used the complimentary bikes (incl. baby seats, which are hard to find in Vietnam) and rented scooters from hotel (120K VND/day for good scooters!). Location is only 5 minutes walking from Tam Coc center (which we prefer above Ninh Binh city). Spacious and clean rooms. Rooms are bit basic but this did not bother us because of above.
