Some of the warmest and friendliest people we met on our 3 month is SE Asia. The family doesn't really speak English, but that didn't stop them from having full conversations with us through voice translate! The breakfast was different and delicious every morning, good wifi, and absolutely comfortable room and bed! The weather was quite bad during our stay, so we could see/do much...but the family was so open and willing to help with anything that it made our time in Ninh Binh so memorable! We hope to come back and see them again some day :)

-It was on the main street (but the room was not noisy, so it´s ok) -The motorbike we rented did not have the best breaks (you never get amazing motorbikes when you rent from your hotel in Vietnam)

The reviews are right. We only stayed two nights and didn't have a lot of time to connect but the family is very friendly welcoming and smiley. They always gave us water and snacks. Communication was easy with Google Translate. They were ready to help with booking a transport. Made us great vegetarian food. The room was nice and clean. We rented a motorbike from them and they even offered us raincoats because the weather was not good.

Located on the outskirts of Tam Coc this homestay was amazing. The rooms were clean spacious and comfy and the family couldn't have done more to help with whatever you might need. Located 2km from Tam Coc centre but with bycicles and mopeds to rent for the guests the location was perfect for a some peace and quiet and to explore the town and countryside.

Amazingly kind family. We ate dinner with the family and they were so kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious as was the happy water they shared with us. The room was clean and comfortable. Wish we had more time to explore the places they suggested, but the weather wasn't cooperating with us!

Wished we had a wardrobe or cabinet or table to keep things in the room but not at all an inconvenience.

Thiem and family are extremely welcoming and kind hosts. They helped us with various guides and rented us a scooter for local sightseeing. The breakfast Thiem and grandpa cooked for us was sooo filling and delicious we regretted not staying another night! Thiem also helped with arranging transport from his doorstep to our Hotel in Ha Noi, and it was perfect. We could not have done that without his help. The room is exactly like in the photos, clean, bright and spacious. This place is an extreme example of value for money.

No real good place to hang. Sitting area downstairs is a pretty dark garage type building. It’s a family stay and I honestly found the hosts constant hovering around me slightly stifling

Everything was great

Authentic homestay. Everyone in the house was super friendly and was always taking care of us. We could really feel treated not as a tourist but family. We have the dinner with the whole family and it was super nice: the food was super tasty and we could chat and share with everyone. The removed the language barrier with their friendliness and Google translate ;) The room was comfortable and we could access to everything from there, either with taxi, bike or just walking. There are few nice cafes and restaurants need by. Extremely recommended

The room was spacious and clean. Thiem and his family was really nice and lovely. They always helped us with some tips about ninh Binh and always had a nice and hot tea for the cold days! They also offered some nice bbq corn and it was super nice to be and eat with them

We had a wonderful homestay experience. The room was clean. The family was very friendly, chatty and helpful. The meals they cooked for us for dinner were extremely delicious and affordable. We even got gifted with snacks and extra water for our little trips around the area and when we left. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Thank you for having us!

The homestay is run by an extremely nice family. They made us feel like a part of their family. We had dinner together. We arrived on 9.2.2024 (Tet) and they invited us to go to the temples with them. They make the best food and serve the best tea and coffee. You can rent a motorbike or a bicycle and they also organize rides to other places. Their hospitality cannot be properly described by words. If I had more time, I would have stayed longer. When I come back to Ninh Bing I will definitely stay with them again. I highly recommend this booking!

The location is amazing and moreover you should book this place for an authentic Homestay experience. The family was very homely and caring. The hospitality was beyond generous. Home cooked meals were delicious. They will help you every possible way :-) Definitely recommend without any doubt.

Probably our best stay in Vietnam. Thiem and his family are welcoming and caring, we enjoyed our time with them and discovered our karaoke skills. When we arrived early in the morning the room was ready for us, clean and spatious. Breakfast was different everyday and delicious. We rented both bicycle and motorbike to explore the area and the rate is good. When we left for Hanoi, Thiem booked the bus for us and made sure we arrived safely. We have been lucky to meet this beautiful family.

We also had dinner there almost every night and the was very good and delicious. We rented a scooter with them as well and they were very helpful help information about the places to visit. Make sure you ask how the hot water works in the evening. At a late time we showered in the cold water, because we didn’t want to wake the family up.

I was there with my sisters and the family received us as if we were their family. Their hospitality is so unique and warm, we love the family so much. They smile a lot and alway help out! I didn’t bring a jacket, so the lended me their jacket for the cold weather. Upon arrival we got some water, during the stay we had good conversations by using audio translate, and when we left we sat around a little bonfire and ate pomelo together and also danced with their little daughters. They rent scooters, help with getting bus tickets, do laundry, and meals for a really good price! The place is good located all the main attraction is easy ridable from this place. For us it was a plus to be not in the middle of the busy area and the restaurants, it was only a 5 min drive :)
