Everything. ROOM: Super clean and comfy, specially the bed. BREAKFAST: Really good, the owner give you few options, I am gluten and lactose intolerance and I did have option there. STAFF: They are great, we arrived before our checkin and the owner gave us a cup of tea (suer good) and also a rice snack. I had a shower there before the check in. They also booked the bus for us to go to Hoi An. AREA: Good location, you have nice restaurant around. We will return there for sure.

One of the best homestays were we stayed in Vietnam so far! It started with a very warm welcoming by the owner with tea and fruits. He helped us planning our trip in Hué. The family was super friendly and provided us every morning with delicious breakfast. Our room was very spacious and spotless clean. We had a cosy living room with a little kitchen, a room with a comfortable big bed and place to store our clothes, a nice terrace, bathroom,... Last but not least, the homestay has a good location (central, but in a quiet street). We would definitely recommend this place!

I cannot remind of anything I would point out as a negative, which is rather unusual with me.

This was by far the best accomodation in the whole Vietnam to me! Such a zen for very affordable price. The owner is attentive, provides a lot of information, and foremost treats you like you were his family. My room was very nice, clean, reasonably big, and calm. The whole place feels really relaxing and pure. I really enjoyed that I could choose from various types of breakfasts, it was always delicious. If I am ever back in Huế, I will surely stay here again!

Great place to stay! They even picked us up and helped us reach the house during a flood, with water up our hips. The place is excellent, clean, and beautiful, with a comfy bed. The owners were warm and friendly, and they put great effort into ensuring we had a pleasant stay - which we did! Absolutely recommended.

What an excellent place to stay in Hué! The location is perfect, being just a brief walk or ride from the imperial city and with plenty of restaurants less than a 2 minute walk away. The homestay is cute and extremely clean with comfortable rooms that hit the spot and are well decorated. It is the hospitality though that puts Tam Homestay over the top. It is truly exceptional. Each day, upon your return, you almost feel as if you are coming "home" as your excellent and genuinely kind hosts will greet you and offer you a cup of tea. They are right there to assist in offering umbrellas, restaurant recommendations, transportation options and more. We had a delightful time in Tam homestay and would ABSOLUTELY stay again. Cannot recommend highly enough. You will enjoy it!

It was very central and close to good restaurants and full of life at night. The placement of the hotel was slightly behind the "party-street", meaning it was a few minutes walk to everything at night, but still not noisy in the rooms from the streets. The rooms were very clean and well decorated, very close to the photos shown in Booking.com. We rented a scooter from this place, 150.000 Dong (can be found a little cheaper in the streets, but with older scooters). We could leave our luggage there after checkout, as our train was at night. They always brought us cold delicious tea when we came back to the reception. Friendly and attentive owners!

Nothing, was quite funny how the family hopped up every time we came back, they really care about their guests but sometimes they could just chill and not worry themselves too much aha.

One of the best places we’ve stayed in 5 months of travelling and might just have been the cheapest too. Such a lovely homestay with the nicest family there to welcome you every time you come back. The room was just amazing, so nicely decorated and had such a nice vibe to it - lovely balcony too. If you come to Hue you just simply have to stay here!

We didn’t realise the owners turn the fridge off when you leave the room so our water wasn’t cold for our bus journey.

Great location right in the centre near all the restaurants and bars. Super clean and comfortable. It’s one of those rare places that is actually even nicer than the pictures. Friendly owners and good breakfast available with different choices each day. Our favourite Homestay in Vietnam so far.

Excellent place to stay in Huè, in the city center but located in a small street inside and therefore away from the noise of the main road. Tam was kind and friendly. Every time I came in, he made me sit at the table and offered me a cup of tea. The room with the balcony was large and clean, with attention to every detail. I recommend this homestay.

The kindness and hospitality of the home owner are second to none. Our stay was really among the best we had not only in our Vietnam trip, but in all of our trips. The rooms are really beautiful and immaculately clean, breakfast is delicious, the location is perfect and as mentioned the service is outstanding. We felt at home and really cared for. Book early because it obviously sells out fast and you wouldn't want to miss it!!!

stayed at Tam homestay for three nights last week.first night stayed at deluxe double room with balcony,second and third night should stay at another room,but the host asked me if i can stay three night at the same room,cuz he said the price would be the same,i agreed with him.so this review is for deluxe double room with balcony.the room is clean,like home,the host stay with us,the living room is big,it has a kitchen,a bathroom and a balcony.the host,Tam is friendly and nice,will prepare drinks for you when you go back from outside.i booked a traditional singing on Huong River ticket from him, also booked one day private car tour and minibus to Hoi An(with tour), price are reasonable and cheaper than others.the location of the homestay is great,close to many eateries and shops,also close to walking street area and perfume river.the homestay is very quiet ,so you will have very good sleep every night. about breakfast ,there are many options to choose,but all are vegetarian food( some with eggs). will stay here again,Tam homestay is the best choice in Hue.

Fantastic customer service: very responsive on the Booking app, we had a welcome drink & snack on arrival, our bags were immediately taken to our room and Tam was more than happy to help booking buses/ motorbikes/ laundry etc. Room is lovely. Cosy, clean & modern. Great value for money!

stayed here for three nights,when checked in,the host Tam welcomed me with fresh juice and fruits.the room i booked is big,actually i booked two different room,cuz the room type i preferred only available on the second and third day,so i booked another room on the first day.but the host asked me if i can stay at the same room,i really love that room,so agreed with him.the room is clean,full of Buddhist decor,beautiful,the dining room is big,cozy and it has a kitchen.but i was busy during the stay,no chance to use it.i only used the fridge inside the room.the room is comfortable, especially the bed,i had good sleeps here.the bathroom not big,but clean,the water pressure is strong,easy to use.though i never used hot water,but i did open it once,and it was hot.Tam,the host provided free mineral water everyday. every time when i returned,he will prepare juice and tea for me,he is very generous and nice.there are many options for the breakfast,i tried Hue veggies noodle soup,sautéd noodles with eggs and omelette with banh mi.all come with fruit salad,about the drinks,i tried passion fruits juice,black cofee with ice and ginger tea.all were delicious and healthy.i love sautéd noodles with eggs,it is called mi xao trung in vietnamese.on the third day.i ordered a private car with the host,visit three tombs and a museum at very reasonable price.on the last day,i booked a minibus to Hoi An from the host.Tam homestay though not a five star hotel,the host provide five star service,highly recommended!
