The restaurant is a little over priced. Unfortunately we stayed at the same time as a few young families so we’re woken both mornings by screaming children in the pool! Would be a 10/10 hotel if it was adult only!!!!!!!

Beautiful secluded hotel with amazing staff. Lovely room with a big bath and very comfy bed. Pool area was great, and good breakfast options. Best mango and passion fruit smoothie we’ve had in the whole of Vietnam!

If you are looking for a hidden gem in the nature, then this is the place! Staff was very kind and helpful, breakfast selection was delicious and overall the hotel was really cute and well designed. If I ever go back to Ninh Binh, I will definitely book here again.

If I had to really nitpick, the taps to run the shower are confusing and it’s really hard not to either burn or freeze yourself in the shower.

This place is an oasis! The rooms are beautiful, especially the bathroom. The pool is so lovely and it has comfortable and enough sun loungers around it for everyone. The breakfast is a good mix of east and west. And lastly the staff are really friendly. Don’t be put off by the location - it’s much quieter and more beautiful because it’s further out of tam coc. It’s easy to get to taxis or grabs to and from the hotel.

Restaurant is less than average. We were a bit unfortunate that there was a group of young peoples that were thinking they were alone in the place, taking the pool for them, talking loud when not screaming… Well, I had to tell them myself that this was not acceptable, it calms down after…. Think this kind of situation can happen anywhere, and what we could see is that Vietnamese people are very nice and will not necessary monitor bad behavior…. When you book a ‘’retreat’’ you generally expect calm and delight…

The bungalows are very new and nicely decorated, bed was amazingly comfortable, the bathroom was stunning (ok, we had highest room level…). The bungalows are around a nice pool, surrounded by lush gardens.

Amazing property surrounded by the beautiful mountains. Very comfortable, peaceful and beautiful resort in a quiet location that was perfect. The pool itself and bar service at the pool made it a very relaxed and enjoyable time. Beautiful staff. Extra grateful for the best chef we have had during our stay in Vietnam, tam coc retreat are very lucky to have him. He is an amazing chef that cooked for my family 3 nights in a row with amazing service. He is so passionate and cooked us multiple dishes off the menu that he thought we would love, and we did! Will definitely return in the future and would recommend to friends and family to stay here.

The pool area was lovely, but often quite busy and filled with couples, making it a little uncomfortable for an overly self-conscious solo traveller.

Great location if you're happy being slightly outside the town itself and don't mind cycling or getting a taxi to the various sights. The staff were super helpful, and the pool is amazing.

We had a great stay but food could be improved. We weren’t there for the swimming pool but this area could also be given more attention, as if you arrive at the end of the day, you’ll find empty sun-beds with used towels, drinks and food left on the side tables. A minor cleaning/service a few times a day in this area could do a lot!

Great place a little bit outside of the city, which is perfect for a quiet time. The city center and all touristic attractions are easily reachable by bicycle or by car. The views of the mountains surrounding the hotel are breathtaking, especially the sunset ones. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and very clean. The bathroom is dreamy and feels great to use after a long day of visits in the hot and humid weather. The staff is super nice, everyone is really smiley and lovely. Thank you Cao for your kindness!

Food and drink offering lets the place down. Also had an occasion where we were brought the incorrect item. Bar staff need a bit of help as they often didn't understand what was being ordered. One day I ordered a coconut coffee and had to wait 35 minutes for it to arrive. There is also a problem with hot water so you will only get a 1/3 full bath at best.

Gorgeous hotel grounds and rooms. Great pool (although could do with heating on some days). Very friendly and helpful reception staff.

Although the breakfast was very nice, the food from the restaurant menu was quite expensive and poor quality compared to the Tam Coc's average. It's far away from the center and they have no shuttle service for customers, indeed the taxi they offer is way more expensive than a normal Grab option. I believe it's something the hotel should provide with.
