The beach is a bit small and there were some litter that often get washed up to the shore - this is of no fault to the hotel, the staff work very hard to keep the beach clean. This really made me think about the amount of plastic waste being produced by Vietnam. Kudos to the resort for using bamboo straw and limit the presence of plastic packaging around the premise! Dinner was good, but I wish there was some Vietnamese-friendly options in the set menu (we got the half-board option) - the food served was almost exclusively Western fine-dining style; my mum who's elderly found it a bit hard to get used to. Familiar Vietnamese options could go very well with the older crowd.

I had a little extended weekend takeaway with my family. We were offered complementary room upgrade to ocean view on arrival. The rooms and surrounding were absolutely beautiful; the staff were highly attentive and professional, we really appreciate the airport pick-up and drop-off service. The breakfast buffet every morning was very tasty and there were lots to choose from, we especially loved the hot noodles station :-) The place is kept impeccably clean and the atmosphere was serene and peaceful. We also had a wonderful massage session with skillful and friendly masseuses. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back again - thank you very much La Veranda for the good time!

I think its everything. The staffs (especially those in the front area) were so friendly, thoughtful and supportive. I also do like the fact that you guys follow/ practice sustainability & CSR which I do not see much here in this country at the other places - even at the same or higher price range. That would help you go long, to be frank.

There is no sign to instruct the way to the resort from the main road so visitors may feel difficult to find.

The place offers a peaceful and clean tropical environment with plentiful of services, which gave us a very comfortable and pleasant vacation. They also have a 5-star quality restaurant with decent food and wine.

Staff and service is excellent. We were welcomed by Lin, from the Philippines, at the front desk, whose attention to detail and efficiency was remarkable throughout. The Operations manager was also exceptionally helpful. Our room had a large veranda, and a vast bathroom.

Fantastic service from start to finish - the staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast service, a la carte, was excellent. There is a large variety of juices and dishes. The highlight for me was the Assemble your own which included options of scrambled tofu, aubergine "bacon" and delicious salad (which I think may be grown in their own garden). The beach is well set up. Amenities in the room well thought out, including conditioner, bathrobes, bag and slippers for the beach. Free morning yoga and airport transfer huge pluses. Great value when we visited, just as it was reopening, so got an amazing rate (almost 1/3 of high season rate). I would highly recommend a couple of days at the beginning or end of your trip.

Photogenic resort with a clean beach. Staff were really helpful in providing more information and assisting in hiring a driver. Free bicycle hire was a plus. Did not encounter mosquitoes too.
