Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyIt is located right between Phan Thiet and Mui Ne and unless you jump into a car, there isn't much else around. The few restaurants that are there cater to tourists (for obvious reasons).
The hotel is brand new (opened in January 2023) and features great architecture, comfortable rooms, phantastic pools and a great layout with view of the ocean. Staff was extremely helpful and the overall experience was just great. It certainly isn't cheap but you get what you pay for (in the positive sense).

Switzerlandenglish very limited and some people very inexperienced in gastronomy, also just newly opened and offering was still limited (most of wine, drinks not available, people at the bar don’t drink alcohol which is not making it easier for them) - I think from a 5* hotel you can expect people to know that when you order a bottle of water that you get a glass for everyone and they should be able to tell you what you can eat as vegetarian, but everyone is trying really hard and was super nice
super nice 5* hotel with great restaurants and most beautiful pool and rooms, yoga offering, serviced pool area, directly at the beach and perfect price value!

CambodiaThe event in a hotel: I understand that the hotel may regularly host events, but I would like to express my concern about the lack of prior notification. During my stay last weekend from Friday until Sunday noon I was affected by an event held by the hotel that caused some discomfort. The preparation for this event resulted in noise and disturbance during one of the days I was there, as they set up a stage using tools like drills, etc. This was unexpected as I was hoping to enjoy a peaceful environment to rest and listen to the sea.
Staff, room, services, location.

VenezuelaThere was an even going on while we stayed there. The preparations for this event (mounting stage/speakers/lights) took the whole Saturday morning and was VERY noisy, then sound check. It was quite disturbing tho those of us who chose this 5-star hotel looking for relax/quiet time away from noisy Ho Chi Minh City. We were not advised of this event until right on check-in.
Very nice and helpful staff. Food was top-notch!. Location is unbeatable, clean pools!. Big room, comfy bed!.

SwitzerlandMy room was very noisy. It was located right above the restaurant and you could hear chairs moving all the time during service in the morning and evening. Also despite being such a lovely property, the only view I had was the plastic roof of the restaurant’s terrace. During the reservation, I had even explicitly asked for a quiet room with a nice view. Check in and out were very transactional and I was also given no further info about the facilities or the room. Overall, knowing that this is an SLH hotel, I felt disappointed.
Beautiful property with lovely garden and nice swimming pools. The room was spacious and very clean.

AustraliaThe hotel is new so still a long way from being perfect. Staff are slow when ordering drinks at Buffett. Impossible to get any staff for poolside service. There is a button to press but it seems like it does nothing. Design of room is not great. Small rooms and no bathroom privacy in any of the rooms. Try an avoid the rooms facing the road as they are too noisy. We had to ask for another room facing the pool and beach, away from the road.
Location. Beautiful pools. Delicious buffet. Great private beach. Lovely and helpful staff.

AustraliaThe rooms are very small and the bathroom is practically in the room and only partitioned off by a curtain. A bit of a stupid design if you want privacy after a shower or bath. The resort is very expensive for what you get. Upon arrival we received a room facing the street. These are the worst rooms as they are noisy from all the traffic on the main strip. After complaining we were given a couple of other upgrade options and eventually were given rooms looking out to the pool and beach away from all the street noise. Staff at the buffet are very slow in bringing out drinks. Some morning it would take 15 min to get a coffee and sometimes orders were incorrect. Given it is a new resort, they need some additional training in this area. Most staff were lovely though except some of the men who looked like they didn’t want to be there. A stark different from the Anam Cam Ranh. Special mention to the staff member who located a lost time for us and had it transported to HCMC for me. Thank you !!!
New, clean and a lovely resort in Mui Ne. Great location on the main strip. Great Buffett breakfast. Staff friendly and nice. This resort has so much potential but not quite there yet.

GermanyFirstly, there was no pressure in the shower and the water smelled of dirt which was quite unpleasant and I never felt 100% clean. Secondly, the service at the hotel was appalling. The greeting we received upon arrival was uninterested. They hardly looked at us but constantly was on their computer. While I asked a question to the one lady speaking English she open her Facebook and was checking it out. It was difficult to communicate with all the staff as hardly anyone understood English apart from this one person at the reception. The waiters also had a poor understanding of English, which led to mix-ups with our orders. Even for just a drink at the pool bar, the wait time was a minimum of 20 minutes. The food was also way too expensive and the quality was not great, and even inconsistent from day to day. The coffee was undrinkable as it tasted of soil and dirt, which was a disappointment. The pool guy seemed bothered if we asked for an umbrella for the beach and it took 2 times to ask before he gave us one, which wasn't ideal. Finally, we found the hotel to be practically empty, and the only activity at night was a pool table, which was locked up at 9.30 in the evening. They did open it for us but told us to be out of there in 50 min!I Overall, I had mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. While the premises and pool area were beautiful, the poor service, communication barriers, and inconsistent food quality left much to be desired. I hope that the hotel management can take these points into consideration and make some improvements in the future because the hotel has a lot of potential but seems very poorly managed. Honest the water problem in the showers would be a reason I would not come back.
I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say, the premises are absolutely stunning! The quality of the furniture and wood used for restoration is lovely, and the overall aesthetic of the hotel gives off a colonial vibe which was really cool. The pool area was also beautiful and the towels were nice and new. The sun beds were super comfortable and we really enjoyed lounging around the pool area. Our room was well-equipped and had everything we needed. However, we did experience some issues during our stay.

LithuaniaEverything was perfect
This place was something to remember. It exceeded all our expectations. Each moment we felt vert giod there due to all small details: very nice decorations, french colonisl style, couzy lightening, nice calm music, outstanding service, good food. Eveything seems to be thought through. It is an ideal place (I am sure the best in Mui Ne) for those who are not fond of noisy activties in hotel and like stylish luxury boutique hotels.
