The room is slightly on a smaller side.

Excellent location, central, but on the smaller streets so it is noise free. Laundry services were extremely affordable, and given back in a very timely manner. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to needs. If you are doing a Day Tour, expect to be one of the first to get picked up as this place is right in the city center.

Location is perfect to visit Hanoi and to go on trips (like Sa Pa, Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay…) Due to it‘s location in the old quarter you always get to be picked up last and dropped off first (which is great, less waiting time in the bus). The breakfast was nice with a good view. The biggest benefit of this location, however, is the very skilled and friendly staff. They work very professional and they will support you with any inquiry you have. Jackie and his team are simply outstanding!

Rather expensive compared to that there are no facilities like swimming pool, small reception, no bar/restaurant etc. Nb I have never been to Hanoi before so it may be I compare unfavorably with in particular Thailand

Simple but good breakfast. Very good room, good bed, quiet room despite a busy city street outside. Very sweet and attentive service, truly taking care of their guests. Clean rooms.

There wasn’t anything really.

We were upgraded to a bigger room. The bed was comfortable and all the linen was white. The whole feeling of the room with its painted wall added to therean overall good feeling. Staff was incredibly helpful especially the reception staff - Percy who was really helpful. Jackie was amazing in organising trips for us and a taxis whenever we needed them. All the trips he organised were amazing. All the tour guides in the food walk, Vespa tour and the boat to Ha Long Bay went beyond expectations. Hanoi is fantastic!

Very Good Room with all facilities. Location is very close to shopping markets. Breakfast was good with tasty fruit juice. Jackie (Manager) and all staff were super. What I didn't like is when the power went out they didn't have a generator to repower the hotel up I think that's important thing to have especially to keep your customers comfortable.

The location was great near the popular lake, walking distance from eateries, entertainment &shopping.

Extremly friendly, poliet and ready to help staff. Very central with easy access to lots of coffee shops, restaurants and a graet place for walks around the lake there. Good breatfast. Coffee, tea and snack available in room for free. Easy place to book a taxi very fast. About 40 minutes from airport.

Nothing, everything was wonderful

Hanoi La Selva is simply the best. Right after booking, I was contacted right away by the property manager, Mr. Jackie via WhatsApp to confirm the booking. Initially, our group was set to stay in the Two bedroom suite but due to unfortunate circumstances, two of our group was unable to make the trip. Mr. Jackie was easy to contact and was able to amend our booking at no extra cost. I am really thankful for this. The location is right at the heart of Hoan Kiem, so everything was easily walkable. Our tours were easily able to locate our hotel for pickup. We would also like to commend the rest of the staff such as Joy, Lily, Percy and everyone else for great service and for going above and beyond their duties. Upon arriving, they made sure we were comfortable right away and offered a welcome drink. They have a map to the city sights, stores, restos, and whatever you need. Breakfast is not buffet style, but made-to-order from a menu. You can order as much as you want though. They offered mostly, noodles (beef, vegetable, chicken), breakfast sandwiches, eggs, coffee, and fruit juices. Another example of great service was when they provided takeaway breakfast because our tour pickup was at 5:30 AM. The rooms are exactly what they look like in the pictures. There was a bidet, walk-in shower, bathroom toiletries, and daily refill of bottle water, instant coffee, tea, and crackers. Housekeeping was done daily. We are grateful to Hanoi La Selva for making our stay wonderful and allowing us to extend for another day due to flight cancellations.

Fantastic location!! So close to everything. The staff are next level Excellent 👏👏👌 So helpful 🙏 they sorted out everything we needed from site seeing, transportation, local knowledge and even our laundry😁 Breakfast was fantastic, very tasty! The room was very clean and serviced daily Overall great value for money, fantastic staff, great location and we are booking in next year again 👍

Very cute boutique style hotel located in a great location for tourists. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were very good western and Asian options and was prepared per order. The reception staff was very friendly and arranged all of our tours and accommodations for the remainder of our north Vietnam trip. The quality of everything that we booked was very nice.

Everything was perfect.

We liked everything. The staff is wonderful, the breakfast is great and the location is sensational. Comfort is as expected. The concierge's instructions were fantastic and we were 100% satisfied. We took two tours through the hotel reservation and it was perfect!! I recommend it.

This is NOT a fake bot review 😀 This review is for my stay at La Selva in Hanoi on October 6th 2023, which costed ~1,800,000 VND (~70USD) per night. The pictures of the Junior Suite online corresponded with the reality of room 301. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked well. The room faced the street, so we could hear some street noise but not much (buy ear plugs, they are great investment for any vacation 😉). The staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. We booked airport drop-off with the general manager (Mr. Jackie Le) using WhatsApp, it worked great and the price was reasonable (18USD each way). This was our second stay at La Selva Hanoi (before and after cruise to Ha Long bay) and were very satisfied with it both times.
