Amazing helpful staff! They are smiles and advices , so nice to stay . The best are at the restaurant are, they make you feel really special during your breakfast. Nice view from the room and roof top terrace. Very clean and new hotel. Very nice bathroom with the view.

We loved our stay here! We arrived very early in the morning with the night bus at 8:30 but got a warm welcome right away. They have a waiting room with a shower and sofa were you can take a nap. We were very lucky and got our room before lunch time. They also have great options for tours to visit Lan Ha and Ha Long bay. And on our check-out day we had to leave very early and we even got a nice take away breakfast to go.

We loved the place so much we even extended our stay! Everything is super clean, the food and a la carte breakfast is delicious, the staff is fantastic and the rooms are very nice. This is the nicest place we stayed at during our vacation in Vietnam so far. Last but not least, the price is a bit high to compare with the other hotels in Cat Ba but it's cheap for what you get!

This small very well appointed hotel in the middle of Cat Ba town was perfect! Lovely, bright, large and well-decorated room with sea view and extremely comfortable bed. Absolutely fantastic helpful and friendly staff who go out of their way to help from suggesting tours and restaurants to sharing informal conversations and information about the country. Great breakfast and easy stroll to a range of restaurants in town. Stayed before and after our overnight boat tour with Cat Ba Ventures (also highly recommended). Wish we could have stayed longer! Strongly recommend!!

Everything was perfect ! As the hotel is new (I think it opened 6 months ago), equipments are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is also generous and you can order as many times as you want. Location is great, in the center of the city and the agency they’re working with (Cat Ba Aventure) is highly recommended as well ! Last but not least, service was super nice!

Noisy street . I think the hotel need to talk to their council to look at having a curfew in the music - noisy most of the night and this is not the hotels fault at all.

Nicest hotel we’ve stayed in during our time in Vietnam so far. The ocean and moon decor was lovely, staff was friendly and greatly accommodating to all our needs. Inclusive breakfast was top notch and delicious! Signed up for a Cat Ba Ventures boat tour through them as well. Would definitely stay here again.

The Moon Boutique Hotel Cat Ba is the BEST. The hotel is strategically located in the center of the Cat Ba island. Its very personalized service to their guests and cleanliness of the rooms are very impressive.The upstairs outdoor rooftop lounge was amazing as well. A special mention to Mr.Tung, their hotel manager who guided us in in finding the most authentic and delicious Vietnamese food. All his staff are all so nice and helpful. Will definitely refer them to friends. Special thanks too for setting up a beautiful arrangement in our room for our Honeymoon holiday. We are truly touched. They truly exceeded our EXPECTATIONS !!

I can’t recommend this place enough! It was truly the highlight of our trip. The location is great, staff is impeccable, rooms are clean and spacious, beds are super comfy, bathroom is practical, and everything is super stylish. Breakfast is very tasty and laundry service was efficient and reasonably priced. What can I say more?! This place is an absolute delight! Book while you can. We will definitely come back when in Vietnam. Thank you so much to the team for hosting us!

Excellent, outstanding service from the friendly, hard working staff. Very comfortable beds and rooms with air conditioning in this new facility. Lunch and breakfast were excellent (highlight was the airy bread and great options). Great location.

Convenient location close to / within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Some suites have ocean-front views. A la carte ordering for breakfast. Limited rooms/units - mostly 2 to a floor. Very helpful staff - be sure to ask them for recommendations re: restaurants, massage places. Integration with Ca Ba Ventures - helpful for booking. Well-working air conditioning - crucial given the heat and humidity. Fairly easy walking distance to the beaches.

Amazing breakfast. Beautiful decor. Great rooftop verandah looking onto the bay. Great for sunsets. Take a beer up. Great service. Perfect central location. Do take their recommended walk between beaches 1&3. Very pretty. You can catch an ev for 10k vnd to get/return to start pt. Sunset or sunrise are great. Walk or get a lift to the boat station. Beautiful scenery and fun just watching the boats. At times like Hanoi driving. Tour office attached helped us book cable car to leave the island. It rained when we got the cable car but was still great fun. The view was good and would haven amazing on a clear day. 100k vnd extra each is worth it.

I thought that the ensuite was small, slightly bigger would have been better. I also struggled to find a place to put my suitcase and open it without it being in the way when we were walking around the room.

The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. The location was excellent, because it was walking distance from restaurants and shops. It was nice to walk along the board walk. We had a lovely view of Cat Ba Bay.

There are various karaoke bars/clubs around the hotel which you can hear from the room until 5/6am. But with earplugs it’s fine. Plus this would be the case in other hotels in the area so this is by no means their fault!

It is a really new modern hotel, right in the center. The staff are really nice and they help you book a great one day cruise with their sister company (cat ba ventures)!
