Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe air con wasnt very cold and due to the heatwave we also had to borrow a fan to make the room comfortable but the helped us with that which was nice!
Really great location and the staff couldnt be more helpful! We arrived on a pretty early train and they had prepared the room pretty early for us which was amazing! The room was clean and comfortable with modern bathroom and breakfast daily was good!

Perfect location and walking distance to city centre. All staff were very helpful and the facilities were very clean. Simple but tasty breakfast a la carte. We couldn't here any noise from the street thanks to the soundproof windows. Kudos to the gentleman welcoming guests at the arrival. He made us feel like at home😊

The room could be bigger as the bathroom was almost half of its size A hotel that has no iron is not acceptable, even the lowest-standard hotels have at least one. I had a meeting and couldn't iron my shirt I was very upset about it

AustraliaThe way the hotel is designed, the noise travels and the rooms are not soundproof. There were children screaming in the pool at 6am for several hours, which travels up to the rooms. I asked the staff to ask the people to stop screaming and yelling but they did not. The bed was horrible too, I like a hard mattress but this was rock hard.

AustraliaOther guests were extremely noisy and, although asked by me to be quiet, they were noisy all hours, shouting outside of our door, running around the hallway, banging doors, screaming... and that was just the adults! The kids were even worse! Although this was not the fault of the hotel staff, I don't think the hotel staff asked them to change their behaviour. The noise carried throughout the building.
The room was basic yet clean. The staff did their best to make our stay comfortable. The Japanese restaurant next door is amazing.
