We got there before the check in time and the staff at the desk said that our rooms were ready early, so we went to our rooms but they hadn’t been cleaned yet since the last occupants had left. This was fine as we understand we had arrived early, so we just left our bags in the room and let reception know that our rooms hadn’t been cleaned and went out. When we came back several hours later our rooms still hadn’t been cleaned since the last people were there. We let reception know again and they finally sent someone up to clean the rooms. Didn’t effect our stay too much but just something that I feel could’ve been improved slightly!

Great location right on the Cat Ba coast. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a smart TV so you can watch Netflix and YouTube. The beds were so comfortable and the aircon worked perfectly! The bathrooms were well equipped and the shower was powerful. The amenities like the water bottles and the toothbrushes were a nice touch. The staff were lovely and willing to help us with activities around Cat Ba.

The room was really nice and spacious with a lovely view. The room was also very clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful in providing recommendations for the local area. We were also able to do laundry and book our transfer to our next location through the hotel for very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was a bit meh... But this has been our experience in Vietnam in general, regarding breakfast.

The room looks exactly like in the pictures. We were very happy with it. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive to messages. The location is great, right on the main street where you will find all the bars and restaurants. The view from the window is very pretty as well. We booked a trekking tour through them and later found out, that we got a better price, than other people on the tour. Also they organized a bus for us to Ninh Binh and that also went super smooth and easy. If I would come back to Cat Ba, I would definitely stay here again!

Everything! Fabulous place to stay - love the lake view - awesome views from our room!! Close to everything. Fantastic support with booking tours and buses - they go out of their way to be kind, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but lovely - a great start to the day. Can’t thank you all enough 😁🙌🏻

the owner was so helpful and kind, my room did not have a heater and i asked them to change me to a room with a heater and they changed it to me without extra charge, the king size bed was very nice Comfortable, the next day I booked a late bus at 16:00 to Hanoi and they created an event for us to check out late. Nearly new building in a convenient location with a nice view. Staff very friendly and can organise trips, tours, hotel/airport transfers and scooter hire. Fridge and kettle in room, no coffee but we carry our own supply anyway, and a good shower. Beds very comfortable

Very nice owner, helped us with a tour, bus tickets and laundry. Very good location away from the noise of the bars but within walking distance, not sure if it's like this all year but it was in Feb. Very spacious and clean room with breakfast I cluded, incredible value for money.

Not the cleanest. Breakfast was average - tip: don't get the pancakes, stick with the Vietnamese options. The bathroom ventilator doesn't work so the bathroom is constantly humid and wet. I think it's important to manage your expectations at this price point. Having said all this, we would be happy to stay here again!

Location is good, 5 mins walk from the main strip in Cat Ba. Communication from Thai at the front desk was excellent. He helped us book a boat trip and rented us a motorbike, both for a fair price. Room was spacious. Brilliant value for money overall.

The room is big and the bed is super comfortable. The neighborhood is quite quant. With such a good price for the room it came with awesome breakfast. I was totally impressed!
