Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Wonderful rustic insight into delta life. Great birdwatching location also the proximity to the national park. We had a couple of day trips out, one to the park and one to flower town. Our host contacted us and arranged a pick up from Can Tho which solved the getting there problem

AustraliaNothing. Everything was wonderful and exceeded expectations.
The host family and staff were amazing!! So welcoming and enthusiastic to help in whatever way they can. They made delicious meals and there were lots of activities for the kids. It was a very memorable stay in a beautiful environment and we’ll definitely return to the farm next time we are in the area. Some may find the bedding uncomfortable but all you need to do is ask for additional padding or whatever else you need. It’s all part of the experience and I suspect guests go there for an authentic experience rather than expecting 100% comfort. You will not be disappointed. And I would recommend staying at least a few nights to truly appreciate it. We stayed for 4 nights and loved every minute.

IsraelThe mattress, it's not a huge issue but I would recommend having it a bit more thicker.
Its been an outstanding experience indeed one of a kind. It's been 2 years that I am planning on visiting a farm in my next visit to Vietnam, I really wanted to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the Saigon, and here I am in a magical place, surrounded by beautiful rice fields. The farm is simple and yet very special, one can tell that it was built with love and respect to nature but also for the best traveler experience. If that's not enough, the host was super welcoming, it felt safe, warm, and yet very much private when I wanted to have my space. The room is made of bamboo and natural materials and was spacious and functional. About 10 drive from the farm there is a national park on the Mekong River, the host gave me a ride there and arranged 90 minutes boat ride, this site was also great, nice river and lots of Birds and some Buffalo on the river bank, seeing the sunset on the background of the vast land of the Mekong was beautiful. I am the kind of person that wants to know what he eats, and during this visit I was amazed by the creativity of the Vietnamese cuisine, the host invited me to choose herbs and flowers from the farm’s garden and then cooked delicious local dishes with them accompanied by beef, chicken, and seafood, it was really cool experience that made the lunch and dinner a rewarding experience, I guess there is something about eating what you picked up 2 ago… In terms of accessibility, the host was accommodating as well, guide me where to buy the bus tickets from Ho Chi Minh City, picked me up with his motorcycle from the local bus station, and took me over to the farm which was around 5 minutes drive. If you are curious about the authentic countryside this is the right place if you are well-traveled, and I am, then I am quite certain that you’re after some new memorable experiences. Look no further :) I will be back again, no doubt about that.

AustraliaWe liked everything.
Everything was perfect. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Really pretty farm with rice fields and lots of lotus flowers. Water buffaloes and birds. Beautiful. The staff are great. Friendly and very helpful. They helped us book a boat trip in Tram Chim National Park which I would say is a must if you visit Dong Thap. Viet Mekong Farmstay is only about 2-3km from the park entrance which is very handy. The food was wonderful too. They hand picked the herbs from the farm just before serving them with our banh xeo. Delicious. They also prepare the various parts of the lotus flower into tasty dishes and teas. The bungalows are amazing to sleep in. Ours had only the sleeping mat and a mosquito net which you will need. It was the best sleep I've had in a while. The shared showers and toilets were spotless. Loved the open roof showers. In short, we absolutely loved the entire qplace and will definitely return. Could be a good stop if crossing to or from Cambodia once borders are open. Great place. Very high recommended.
