The hotel is fine at its price range. The manager (Mr. Quoag) is awesome with honesty, good manners & behavior, and cooperative attitude. The room was specious and clean. You may make your tour happy and safe with his cooperation.

There was no breakfast. The location was perfect. Near the middle of the Old Quarter, a couple of blocks from the lake, and especially appreciated, a quieter street. Friendly staff, and a clean room in a nice neighborhood.

There was some construction noise on the street that couldn't be helped, room not totally soundproof, but we'll stay there again for the location.

The location is great, very close to everything in the Old Quarter but on a side street so not too much traffic noise. Balcony provided a great view of street life. Manager helped with good transportation to & from airport and trips.

Nothing. You could however find private rooms in Hanoi that are a bit less pricey.

The room was spacious and clean. Water bottles were provided, a stocked mini fridge was in the room, the bed was comfortable and they have a western style shower. The staff was super friendly too! Calm and quite with everything you could need. I only stayed one night, but I wish I would have stayed longer. The location was also excellent!

We preferred hotel only, no BF as there is plenty of Vietnamese and other food choice around. Room was very specious with two large and good beds. Cleanliness of room and bathroom was very good, and everything worked. Room has a small balcony and lots of daylight. The hotel is just a few paces from the Hoang Kien Lake and the old town. The street in front of the hotel can get very busy especially during weekends when the road around the lake is closed for people to enjoy the traffic free area - which is great! The street is then used as a bypass. If you are very noise sensitive, then this can be a challenge because the noise insulation from the windows and balcony door is not the best - but they have rooms to the backside. But in general, Hanoi in this area is very busy! Noise dies down after midnight. Noise was tolerable for me, but my wife preferred using earplugs. The room was on the 5th floor. The owner/ manager and other staff of the hotel were very accommodating and friendly, their English was sufficient to communicate.

The hotel manager is very helpful. He provided me a good currency exchange rate at the hotel itself. The location is at tremendous location. Very near to the lake and night market. He also helped me arrange a taxi for sapa at a good rate.

Wifi could have been stronger, but otherwise the room was large and comfortable. I've stayed in Hanoi many times and this hotel is great value and it has the best location possible.

Excellent location in the heart of Hanoi, just a few minutes walk from the Hoan Kiem lake, which is the most important lake in Hanoi. Small, hotel, owned and operated by a family. Great service and attention. Not a lot of facilities, and no restaurant or breakfast, but a very good price for what you get, and on the same street are lots of places to eat, and shops and spas.
