It was a little uncomfortable that there's no phone I can connect to the receptionist so I had to wait for the reply on booking message when I found dust and hair on the bed. Water pressure was really low so I had to spend little more time to take a shower than usual.

The location was nice and wifi was pretty fast.

Everything was good except the automatic entrance gate. From 17:30 to 8:00 next morning you need the room key to enter. They gave us only one key for one room, so if one goes out and one still stays in the room, the security guard will not let you in and you have to call your partner go down to open the gate for you.

The location is amazing with everything in its close vicinity. You might need to walk a bit to reach most of the scenic points but walking isn't the hard part around district 1.

everything is perfect .

this boutique apartment makes me feel like home. I am a seasoned traveller and I would say this is the best room I have stayed at in Ho Chi Minh . even most 5 stars hotel is lower quality than this . the owner puts a lot of thought when designing it. like the wall sockets are local and uk compatible. toilet fixtures and other things are branded stuffs like Toto , Häfele and lock&lock. mattress is 10 inch thick with a comfortable topper and protector . bedsheets are high tread count which is very smooth to sleep in. the wood and marble you see are real . not vinyl stickers . ceiling fan is rare to see in Vietnam . hd tv that is working and with netflix. wifi is fast. I’m very very impressed with woody house. I will definitely come and stay again .

The host, albeit friendly, didn't seem very interested in checking us in, wasn't super forthcoming with information, and strangely asked us to pay half way through our stay rather than at check in or check out. He wasn't aware of how long we were staying for and asked us what time we wanted to check out on our second day of four.

The facilities were amazing, a full studio apartment with all of the relevant amenities, (there was even a rice cooker!) It was close enough to the district 1 action but still on a quiet enough side street. Very secure building too.

absolutely perfect. can not fault anything. the room is beautiful, so modern and clean. there’s tonnes of amenities and free drinks in the fridge, the tv has Netflix which is fab, the bath is amazing and the waters hot. would 1000% recommend.

The sound of the elevator is very loud. the reception is not always open. Not always hot water. Kitchen is not so well equiped. No credit card payment.

Room was questionable clean (floor was very dirty). Door is not soundproof which was bit annoying as from early morning we heard personnel walking, coughing etc. Safe was not working, we were not able to open it (following the instruction) and we launch alarm from it (no-one reacted however..). Personel doesn't speak much English but everyone was very kind and trying hard :)

Room was spacious, we appreciated kitchen, bathroom was bit tiny but we managed. Very nice design in general. We had a room view for the wall, but, there was window, which is not obvious in Vietnam, additionally we were warned in advance that they don't have front rooms available anymore, which at the end was better as it was very noisy from the street. We didn't want to have room cleaned every day but fresh towels were waiting for us every day, which was great as the one which we used were still wet after full day (city is very humid).

Given its distance from tourist attractions and restaurants, I had to rely on taxis to travel around. The surrounding area does not offer you much. My room had a window towards a wall, a bit different from the rooms that I saw while making the booking here.

The room was impeccably cleaned each day but I got a room that had a window next to a wall so no natural light inside and pretty dark. It was definitely quiet and nice to be far from the noisy traffic. The check in process was very quick. There is a security guard on the site during the night. I got clean towels and water each day, that was nicely appreciated.

The room was not cleaned properly. There was left over food items in the kitchen.. A half used water bottle in the cabinate area. Had to ask for my Coffee sachets to be refilled everyday. Cleaning was not done even after we asking for it. We reached very early and requested them to provide us the room as soon as possible still they didn't buzz. Same was for the checkout. We asked for just half n hr extension to which we were clearly said No which I guess was quite rude. I understand hotel rules but a 30 min early or late checkout won't make a difference for you when the hotel was quite empty. Also its a little inside form the main areas of District 1. Nothing good nearby. For food also you'll have to walk atleast 15 mins. So book near the walking street pe Ban Than market for easy access to most of the stuff.

The bed was quite comfy and Big. Room too was big with a lot of storage space. Kitchen space, some utensils. TV with all OTTs logged.

Very shabby and outdated. It's probably ok for that money but the pictures looked much better. And yes, it was not cleaned enough before our arrival.

The location is ok. Not extremely central, but it's also not far to most attractive areas. Enough space in the room.

We needed a taxi to go to the city centre and back. This is because the streets from the hotel to the city centre are not very beautiful to walk and we did not feel safe during the night on these streets. The bathroom was still very wet (they did not dry); therefore, the bathroom was very humid and smelly. But this went away after some hours. There was not enough toilet paper as well.

The property contacted us upon booking to confirm our stay which we replied to immediately. the day before our booking they messaged us telling us they have over booked and can only offer us an upgraded room but will have to pay extra. We eventually got to the apartment and the young lad on the front desk told us to sit and wait whilst he dealt with his friends. Rude, couldn’t be bothered, told us which floor to go to and that was that. Later that night returning back to the hotel we were locked out, we came back at 7pm.

Could have more equipment such as a toaster,grater, plates etc. We had this hotel for the use of kitchen so if that’s not what you’re using it for then it’s perfect.

Great sized rooms, kitchen area, lovely bathroom and shower, really modern, left us water each day, mini fridge at an extra charge, Netflix, free laundry facilities for self service in the basement
