A few too many mozzie at night.

The location halfway between the beach and old town Hoi An was very quiet and peaceful with lots of nice local restaurants and corner stores in easy walking distance. Daily free transfers to town were just right.

Our stay at Zen was Amazing. It was tranquil with exceptional service from all of the beautiful happy staff. It was easy to travel 10 minutes to Hội An old town with 4 free transfers in and home. Grab taxi 3 mins to An Bang beach, free great condition bikes to ride to restaurants and around villages and rice fields.

Wow what a place. And for the price - amazing! Walking into the resort we were blown away by how beautiful the yellow buildings, pool and beach huts looked in the sunshine and amongst the fields. The staff were so friendly and helpful and would go above and beyond to help.

Zen Retreat Hoi An is the most beautiful little hotel situated at a private lake. This as well as the amazing pool area make it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy your time. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and always ready to fulfill your wishes. There are bikes to borrow and a shuttle service to the Old town twice a day - just perfect. I had the most wonderful time at “my” little Zen Retreat!

Nothing to dislike. It was absolutely perfect for us. For some it may be a little remote but that's all part of it's charm and it offers something truly unique for those prepared to explore the area.

Zen Retreat was the perfect base for our first visit to explore Hoi An. Zen offers you a beautiful location in the countryside to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An. The free hotel shuttle service to the old town is excellent and we highly recommend hiring a scooter to explore other stunning attractions including the coconut village which is an easy 10 minute ride away and the beautiful beaches of An Bang and Cao Dai. You can also use the gym and pool facilities of Zen's sister hotel Zest which is a short walk across the street. But what makes Zen really special is the amazing staff who go above and beyond to make you feel your home from home. Big thanks to Jin and the rest of the team for making our stay at Zen so perfect. We really weren't ready to leave.

Nothing everything was amazing

This hotel is totally zen as the name describes! The room was clean and spacious, and the outdoor facilities including the bar, pool, yoga area etc were very serene with lots of beautiful green space that was very well taken care of. Although it is out of the way of Hoi An (12 mins on a grab taxi), we didn’t mind as it’s super easy to order a grab and we appreciated being away from the huddle of Hoi An. One of the girls who works here Trinh was soooo helpful - she spoke very good English and helped us out with so many things including recommendations for food and transport. Thank you Trinh :)

The vibe! The relaxed atmosphere, so cozy at night with all the colorful lights. The staff was very friendly, Our room was the most beautiful room I ever had. The smell in the room is like in a spa. The surroundings are stunning, 15 min bike ride into the busy touristy City-Center. I highly recommend to stay outside of the center. The breakfast was good. Everything was just perfect, value for money +++

The staff really made our stay the best one in vietnam so far. The communication was exceptional even before arriving at the hotel, we organised a driver from the hotel and he was amazing! We loved the room and the excellent breakfast options that were included in our stay. There is a free shuttle into town and back (once in the morning and once in the evening) which made it convenient to travel. they also include free bikes which we used through the local rice fields. The staffwere extremely accomodating and made us feel like family, absolutely a 10/10 stay

We read on the webpage that there should be daily yoga classes, but there weren’t which little disappointing.

The food options are limited. The food is delicious, though, however the menu is limited to a few choices. Breakfast is the more limited one as you are required to choose the day before so they can prepare it fresh for you in the morning, which is wonderful. So not a negative for us overall but something to consider.

This was the best place we stayed in during our week trip to Vietnam. The location is superb. You do feel you are in an Oasis, away from the busy roads of Hoi An, but still pretty close to, mainly if you grab a bike or rent a motorbike, which the hotel provides. The staff was wonderful. A special thanks to Thôi who we dealt with more frequently during our stay. It’s great to find someone who speaks English, mainly in Vietnam which is not very usual. The room was always very clean and smelling amazing. Amenities restored every day which are a plus when you are backpacking as we were. The pool area is great and we are very glad we took some time to relax there. There aren’t many rooms, so the place never felt crowded. It has a beautiful homey feeling. I would definitely stay again and will recommend it to all travellers to the Hoi An area.

We loved everything. Allthough theres not many foodchoices in the area but lots of choices to deliver it.

The rooms were amazing!!! The staff was so friendly and the breakfast was amazing too. You get to choose 4 items fron the menu. The whole vibe was so amazing. Free bicycles that u can just take and ride around the village. We loved the zen vibes around this area. At (10am) and 4 pm theres a free shuttle to the oldtown of hoi an. Rooms were absolutely amazing spacious and loved the bath tub. Laundry service was excellent!
