Two things limited this place for me 1) not having a restaurant meant I spent most of my time looking for food. That was a lovely reason to explore but the main reason I wouldn't stay again. 2) the bottom left room has no railing on the balcony, and folks were often hanging out right there which opens directly onto the bedroom. One night there were folks sitting right outside talking until about 10pm, another night a couple of guys just helped themselves to the chairs on the balcony. Never caused a huge problem but it meant if I was resting during the day I had to stay most of the time with doors and windows shut. Just felt a bit invasive. I don't think this would be any issue with any other rooms, just not bottom left!

Really beautiful setting, great rooms, everything inside the room was very tidy and kept to a high standard. Staff were all super friendly.

the pool looked milky which was off putting, all guests commented on this. It would have been good to bar b que but it was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned . The fan in our room had two speeds only and the handle kept falling off the cold water tap in the shower . the toilet was wobbly . renovation of the units was underway while we were there so these things will no doubt be taken care of. the drive way is quite steep but once there it is flat.

the room we stayed in was waterfront on the bay. the breakfast was to our liking and staff were diligent the bed was comfortable, The air conditioning was excellent .our room was made up daily. there was a cold water cooker which was excellent. all bookings for transfers and experienced are aptly taken care of by the staff. security is on hand 24/7. the back units located up the hill are larger and look newer.

The kitchen was outside and open in the villa which was ok but there was a problem of house lizards in the outside kitchen. We had to be vigilant always and had to keep looking at the roof while cooking.

We liked the location, waterfront, facilities like swimming, paddle boating, etc. Staff was really kind and courteous. Best thing about the lodge is they kept our excess baggage with them for 5 days when we were travelling on other island even when we were not staying with them after return. So sweet of them. Also helped us with all the tours and taxi bookings when required and help us in deciding what to visit. Definitely will recommend the location.

Wish there was a restaurant on site because only breakfast was available on the property. The swimming pool bottom needs a little more maintenance because the tiles were loose, but nothing too bad. The transfer back to the airport was arranged by the front desk for way too early - they brought us to the airport for the domestic flight 3h before when even 1h before is a lot, so this part was bad.

Close to the airport but still overlooks the water, which makes it perfect for island hopping. Friendly and helpful staff let us store the luggage.

Lovely setting, super close to town you can walk. Very friendly staff, nice and quiet location. Great having a BBQ on site, which we used. Aircon worked great, loved having the kitchen with everything you needed, as well as a cold bottle of water in the fridge when we arrived.

Electrical issues and power went off at least twice a day. Also when you walk bare feet your feet were black.

Waterfront rooms are a bit tired but it’s good value for money. Breakfast was quite different on the two days but all very friendly.

Quick two night stop over before we headed to other nights - greta choice if you’re doing the same. Welcoming, accommodating, beautiful view with direct water access, aircon and cold water in the fridge. Great location for buses into town. Timothy was so helpful with a late check out for us. Thank you!

The clear comunication and ease of check in. The location is perfect, close to the airport and the main part of town. We didn't get alot of time due to flight delay to enjoy the facility but looked very beautiful.

The toilet needed to be re-concreted to the floor it rocked every time we sat on it. The shower was not always hot. The security guard would play very loud music or watch very loud shows throughout the night while we were trying to sleep.

There was nothing that we didn't like. The facilities are older and there are the expected aged signs in the bathroom, however, as we spent most of our time exploring, this wasn't an issue.

The room had a great location - absolute waterfront. The air-con was cold and the mosquito netting around the bed did a great job at keeping the mozzies out. The staff were friendly and really helpful and the location was good - super easy to catch a bus around town. The self-contained aspect of the room was excellent for those days when we didn't want to eat out.

Within walking distance of the city centre and on the waterfront, there was still a calm island vibe. Our stay was very comfortable - good-sized room and comfortable bed, with an excellent view from the balcony. We stayed just for a stopover but Timothy and the Fatumara team made sure we were welcome and all our arrangements were in place. Helpful eating out recommendations too. Breakfast by the pool was individually prepared, not just a buffet.

Needs some maintenance. Looking a bit tired. Traffic noise was loud in Penthouse. Shower went hot and cold.

Fabulous breakfast. Penthouse was spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Close to good restaurants and French bakery.
