Nothing really - it delivered on everything we needed while we worked

Mariner made it really easy for us. We had to work for two days while vacationing and needed solid wifi. Their network didn’t let us down once. Also the rooms were incredibly spacious, making it easy to relax. Location is very close to town so I walked to the supermarket at lunchtime to buy stuff for dinner, very convenient. What I also loved was that the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed - pots, pans, knives, kettles, microwaves, everything was there. Even a rice cooker which came in handy! Also the staff were incredibly flexible which made our life a lot easier.

Only 5 TV channels. Would be awesome if you provided Digicel, Canal+ or Telsat TV or all of them ;-)

Staff were very attentive from booking, could chat with them via Whatsapp to arrange time for free airport transfer etc. And when my flights changed, they were very accommodating. Apartment was very clean, had all the things you need, staff serviced apartments each day, washing dishes etc. Great location, great view, great security. Wifi worked relatively well.

The Mariner is an exceptional property in Port Vila. While it may not have the swim up bar, it has incredible views, beautiful, friendly staff and a comfortable location to town. Lovely reasonably priced restaurants are a stones throw away. The apartment we stayed in is fabulous for families, in that it has two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen that allowed home cooked meals and a full laundry. The pool was a fun addition.

It was well situated for downtown, spacious with very friendly, helpful staff. When our travel plans changed due to a cancelled flight they rearranged our original booking to cover the extra days needed with a minimum of fuss. Highly recommended.

I was always a liitle worried on the balcony and made sure we all stayed clear of the glass panels.

Mariner Apartments were great. Location was amazing, a 5 minute walk to the town centre (Port Vila). The view was amazing from our apartment. The apartments were well stocked and were perfect for our requirements, the beds were large and comfy, the kitchen had everything you needed (although we didn't cook during our stay), there was a nice sitting area with large TV with Netflix (although dubious choices in the memory from the previous occupant), a large desk / table for working on and sitting areas outside on the balconies. There was a pool, although we only used it once, due to a member of our party having a cast on his arm! Eliot (owner) and Helen (manager) were excellent, very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. The same went for the housekeeping staff. We had a medical emergency one night and Helen was amazing, she stayed with us until the paramedics arrived. If we do go back to Port Vila we would happily stay at the Mariner Apartments again. Family of 4 (2 boys, ages 11 and 13).

Road noise a little annoying however we did travel during independence week so roads were a lot busier then usual.

Staff and location where exceptional. Friendly and very helpful. Concrete walls so we weren’t bothered by other guests in the complex.

A noisy family checked into the room beneath us, not the accommodations fault.

Elliot was amazing at facilitating our unusual requirements when our flight home got cancelled due to bad weather, he allowed us to check in really early and extend our stay with no issue.

Loved my stay with Elliot and his staff. They are so welcoming and friendly, it made things so much better. Great location, central to everything and the views over the water are stunning. Great facilities and you can cook and wash your clothes, I could not fault the place. Will stay again on my business trips!

Elliot and his lovely team went above and beyond to help me. The property itself is located in the central part of Vila and right opposite the water, its very pretty! The room itself is top notch and super comfortable. It was great to have washing and cooking facilities and the balcony was a great size. Close to the markets and supermarkets as well as restaurants etc, you couldn't ask for more!

It was a perfect 6 night stay - should have been 7 nights but a cyclone got in the way of the first night!

Everything about the Mariner Apartments was great. The apartments are spacious, well designed and have everything you need for a very comfortable stay, including very reliable wi-fi. The pool is perfect for a dip. The view across to Iririki Island is fantastic and such a joy to wake up to every morning. The staff were incredibly helpful. I will definitely return.

Elliott and staff went out of there way to pick our family up from the airport late at night after an 8 hour delay and cancelled, provided some food and helped us follow up the airline the next day to get home. Can't thank them enough
