Very disappointed and will not recommend Le Vasa to anyone..We were there 4 nights and not once was our room cleaned, on our third night we went to the front desk and asked for our room to be cleaned, they said “yes all the rooms are getting cleaned today” only to come back from a long day out to find towels on the chair out side our room and a room that hadn’t been cleaned, 4 days, no service, no nothing, we even had to buy our own toilet paper and rubbish bags for the rubbish..So disappointing. I then went to the front desk only for the man to say “sorry for the miscommunication “ . That doesn’t justify anything. The food was not worth the price at all, we asked for medium rare and received “deceased”.

The meals were pretty ordinary.Food lacked flavour, fish in curry, and eye fillet steak were overcooked. Pizza stacked with ingredients but no flavour . I was disappointed in the value for money and the lack of seafood on the menu. Was hoping for fresh fish when I've ordered fish & chips....I got a few defrosted fish cubes that were tasteless. I was just as disappointed in the Veggie soup... a few pieces of raw vegetables in boiling water and stock added. There is also no sign of garlic bread. Not much choice around as all the other eating places were miles away. Please keep the artificial flowers off the tables, it looked very tacky, esp with the amount of plants and greenery around. The place is in serious need of a makeover and upgrade to facilities.

The personal spa outside our room didnt have enough water and it didnt actually work? But that was only a minor detail and didnt affect our overall comfort

The staff were so friendly and attentive and although our stay was only for 1 night, it is by the far the best resort we have stayed at in the 2 weeks we were in Samoa. Taumeasina Resort needs to learn from Le Vasa Resort what a clean villa looks like! Thankyou so much Le Vasa!!

The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent with a varied menu for a 7 day stay. The staff were lovely, helpful, accomodating and friendly. You could feel the resort had a family feel to it and we became part of their family, lots of laughing and plenty of smiles. Everyone was great, including front of house, bar, restuarant, cleaning, gardening etc - everyone made us feel welcome. Can't remember all the names but huge thanks to Berry (so much fun) , Andrew, Neevee, Taliloa,the lady and gentleman on reception (super helpful) and more. Pool was awesome and goes well with beer (Vialima) and cocktails. We'll be back. This is a traditional authentic style resort, lovely place to relax and chill out.

This is an expensive resort, charging us A$285 per night, room only, for an ocean front villa with air conditioning and a king size bed. For this price, I expected much more than I received, which is the general consensus for other reviewers unhappy with their stay. I expected a spotlessly clean room, daily room servicing, an air conditioner in good working order, and lights that did not strobe - non of which we received. The problems with the restaurant at lunch and dinner seemed to be fixed (read other reviews) with meals delivered in a reasonable time, but expect to still receive your entree and main at the same time. Breakfast time delivery of meals was particularly bad - another cook in the kitchen is required - you should not have to wait an hour for bacon and eggs, nor juice. Don't bother with the prepaid breakfast option - it is poor value. There were plenty of waitstaff in the restaurant but not enough skilled people to make the food and drinks. Overall, management seems more interested in making money, rather than spending money on maintaining the rooms and employing enough skilled staff.

The hotel is very close to the airport, which is why we booked because we had a 6am departure flight. The staff are lovely - very friendly - and you could see they waitstaff were trying their best to do their jobs. The grounds are shady with lots of places to sit and relax and the gardens are very well maintained. The lunch and dinner menus have some lovely dishes.

The lack of proactiveness & attentiveness by the staff in reception & the restaurant lovely friendly people who needed Customer Service Training to build skill & confidence to approach customers before customers approach them. The small pools outside the Villa was dirty on arrival & never cleaned during our stay even though we asked - first impressions are everything & arriving to what was an expensive accomodation option for us to find it not cleaned which was a 20 mins job was disappointing before we started our stay. Hearing management speak to staff at times in a manner that was not supportive, complementary nor positive was quite distressing - especially as I am a Customer Service Consultant & Trainer.

The staff were friendly & helpful when we asked them for something but lacked proactiveness & attentiveness. The setting was spectacular & it has the potential to be so much more with a little more care & attention to detail. Reception staff were very accommodating with storing our bike boxes & shuttling us to the airport etc so we are very grateful for their kindness here.

No breakfast - for this price think should be included. Ate dinner in restaurant was terrible - food took 1.5 hours (we got birthday cake with a song after 45 mins, 45 before the food) the chicken wasn’t cooked, of the two fish we ordered one had vegetables one had none. And not cheap.

Great location near airport and ferry. Really nice rooms, had bedside lights.

Unfortunately the staff let the overall experience down. Always seemed like it was a problem to help us, didn’t engage with us, billing system come check out was very confusing due to a variety of staff not communicating, seemed like many workers on-site doing duties that were mundane where as our rooms were only cleaned once during a 7 night stay (on another booking that I am unable to review from), unless we asked. We were in the room connected to reception and staff were so loud at night, no hot water from the showers in majority of our rooms, spa and 'water activities' area was abandoned looking, my Mother's 'private pool' wasn't cleaned the entire duration we were there so by the day we left it was green. Expensive bar drinks. Considering we were a large group of 18 there was no effort of welcome/welcome drink or any offer or effort from the staff to entertain us with any traditional activities.
