This family run hotel was most welcoming. The hosts were friendly and pleasant. The location is great, easy walking distance into town. The hotel is very nice, clean and the pool is well maintained. Highly recommended.

Staying at the Vaea Hotel in Samoa was an experience beyond compare, truly a hidden gem in the heart of the Pacific. Lupe and Dean are amazing hosts who go out of their way to make sure our stay was smooth. From helping to connect me with best local spots and hidden treasures of Samoa and arranging bookings for restaurants to the yummy cocktails they served at night - embodied the serene, laid-back essence of Samoan culture. The hosts really made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued.

I loved everything about this place.

It felt like a home away from home - very warm and inviting once you step in. My stay was very peaceful, quiet and I enjoyed how it was not too far from the city. The Owners were very hospitable and understanding to my situation in checking in very late to extending my stay. My favourite part of my stay was the outdoor area. I loved the open area with the plants around the property. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. You had just about everything you needed in the room. I would love to stay in this hotel again if I have the chance to return to Samoa.

Can't say I didn't like that the tv reception wasn't great in our room as watching tv wasn't something we planned or had time to do.

Lupe and family were very accommodating in answering any of our questions and giving us direction and information regarding places to eat, booking ferry to Savaii and things to do in and surrounding areas,. They provide a good breakfast of cereal toast eggs pancakes fruit and coffee depending on the day may vary. We booked our accommodation via email and feedback or any questions answered were prompt no more then a day I'd receive a reply. It's a beautiful location at the top of Apia which gives you access to markets, souvenir shops bars and restaurants all in walking distance. We enjoyed the privacy as we came and went freely although private you do hear the sound of traffic and the liveliness of Apia if you don't mind that sort of thing.I would most definitely recommend Vaea Hotel to any groups of friends or couple looking for a cosy place to call home while in Samoas Capital.Thanks again Lupe and family loved your hospitality.

The couple were friendly, most welcoming and looked after us as I travelled with my mother who is 70yrs plus old. The gardens were beautiful and it is very quiet. It was a home away from home. We enjoyed our stay and will definately recommend Vaea Hotel to our family and friends.

The hosts are the greatest asset for this place. They are genuinely helpful, caring and engaged. The breakfasts were always tasty and a great way to start the day. It was only a short walk to town or the central market which we enjoyed every day as we got to explore a variety of stores along the way. We loved our stay with Dean and Lupae and would definitely stay again.

It is super hard to find the hotel since there is no signage on the road. You have to pull into the driveway to see the Vaea Hotel sign. We drove past it twice and were quite stressed we couldn't find the hotel.

The staff were so friendly and the breakfasts were delicious! It's tucked away in a cute little spot and the pool area feels so private.
