When I entered the hostel the bad smell hit me. It was awful. Probably the shoes were smelling because everybody was taking off their shoes in front of the door. Usually, the host wasn't there. The sheets were not that clean. I was the only woman and the others were drinking so much alcohol.

I booked a private room with 2 beds. It was quiet. The bathroom was good.

Roommate from Jordan that stinks like hell, and follows guests around begging for food,money and beer. If you try to prepare a meal in the shared kitchen, he will cry and try to guilt you into feeding him. Very uncomfortable overall. Showerheads could use an update.

Hospitality of staffs were so good. They were intrested to help about everything with friendly manner. 24 hours check-in is a great advantage for travelers. Dont worry when you arrive they will help you.

the staff was really friendly, I arrived at dawn around 5:30 and they opened the door of the hostel for me and my bed was ready, the room is big and the wifi is fast, recommended 100%

The size of the bunk beds, the lower bed is actually terrible, you have maybe half a meter hight of space only, it's so small. The sheets were clean, but the material was not pleasant, very plastic, terrible for summer heats. There was no AC in the rooms. To be able to sleep in a room on the first floor with 5 other ppl, you have to have open window, which is not safe at all, because it's right on the street and there are no bars on the window.

The stuff was nice, they opened the door for me in the middle of the night, even tho everyone was sleeping.

A bit hard to find for the first time and seems that there is nothing anymore. But actually not really a far away from the centre. Nothing social really happening.

Didn't like the bathroom all wet because of the shower and the living room with cigarette smoke from the balcony.

The place is far from the bus station (the first that I need a taxi), but the problem is the bus station that is far from the center. The hostel is clean, the staff is nice, even if they don't speak a lot of English. The blanket is confortable, the bed is not bad. The breakfast is prepared by them and there is meat and cheese, also milk products. Is a nice place, near the center and other places of the city.

There are no lamps next to bed and there should be more working power outlets, as a few of them in a room per 8 beds aren’t enough

I have never written a bad review for an accommodation before but this will be my first. 1. Informed the hostel that I will be arriving late in the evening at around 11.30pm and the response was to text 30min before arrival (despite timing already given to them). I had no data and couldn't message, and would have been left stranded if not for a hostel guest opening the door. Proceeded to message and call the staff, and he only replied 20minutes later. 2. Facilities wise, the hostel was not maintained at all and there were rubbish lying everywhere in the room, toilet was cram and dirty, there were laundry scattered at various parts of the hostel (not sure how long they've been there for), bunk bed had broken rails. I have stayed in hostels for the past 2 months and this is definitely the worst experience. 3. Staff wasn't there when I reached and when I left (at 8.30am) and I couldn't make payment as a result (since there was no prepayment option on booking.com) There was a guy claiming to be the staff's friend and asked for money, but he couldn't speak English except the word 'pay' and I couldn't understand him at all and didn't feel I could trust him enough to pass him any money (was not informed by the staff regarding this friend as well). After I left, I initially wanted to see whether I can get in touch with booking.com to liaise for payment, but the staff said they reject any credit card payments and I had to pay directly via ibanking to a foreign bank (which felt rather unsafe)

Price was 5 euros per night...
