Great location to walk to shops and restaurants. The rooms were beautiful. Loved having 2 sinks outside the bathroom and the separate living room and 2 TV’s. The family we were traveling with had 2 children and they really appreciated having a room with a queen bed and two twin beds. What a great idea for families!! We also liked soaking in the hot tub in the center outdoor area. The hot breakfast was delicious… especially enjoyed the yummy cinnamon rolls!

It's in a great walking into town location, just a few minutes beautiful walk over the new pedestrian bridge. As its off the main street area it's quiet too. It's a beautiful small hotel/guesthouse with the friendliest and most helpful staff ever. There's kitchen facilities if you need it and a lovely sitting room to relax and read or play games by the fire. I would make this my go to place to return to in future. It was excellent value for money and an all round great place to stay. I would highly recommend it!

Very nice stay, received a free upgrade, spent nice time in the jacuzzi. Excellent restaurant with very good service. Restaurant and reception area have been renovated, much more modern and hip now. We liked the previous cersion better, but that is really just a question of personal taste.

We upgraded our room to a cabin because there were no rooms with balconies or fireplaces available. The cabin was a more romantic option and the wood burning fireplace and location of the cabin definitely had more atmosphere. We loved the fireplace and the bed was very comfortable. The food at the juniper bistro was very good and we enjoyed our dinner. The loft is lovely and style of the cabin is nice.kitchen appears to be new and we'll equipped.

It was our anniversary and they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. We ate dinner at the Italian restaurant, Ticino, attached to the hotel and the meal and service were great and they brought us desert with a message written on the plate congratulating us on our 42nd wedding anniversary - this info would have had to come from the hotel ... nice touch!!
