The location was excellent - within walking distance of everything. We were on the top floor with a balcony which was really nice. They added a portable air conditioner which kept the room extremely cool. It should be noted that we were 5 flights up without an elevator. I did not have a problem with that but it may be a bit difficult for some.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is everything! We were off the train and at the hotel within 5 minutes (or less) walking and it is also right around the corner from the Cathedral - walk 1 minute and you're there! We came to town to explore the Christmas Markets and it was a great base for us. It is a small hotel and nothing fancy but it was very clean and comfortable. We did not eat breakfast there as there are many amazing bakeries around. I would 100% recommend that you book as I know I will stay again if I ever find myself back in Cologne!

We enjoyed the Bräuerei connected to it so much, we stayed at the hotel again on our way back through the Köln. Probably will stay there again in the future. :-) The Mühlenkräuten Schnapps tastes delicious! Location near Altstadt and the Rhine is perfect. Parking is pay only, in the parking structure through the Heumarkt.

So pleased I chose this hotel, originally chosen as attending an event at the Lanxess Arena. Perfect location for that as only steps across the road, but with an underground station so close by we were in the centre of Cologne within minutes. Nice to remove ourselves from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Big room, comfortable bed and great shower/bath. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Bar area very nice with excellent cocktails! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, a perfect base to explore Cologne.

We reach the hotel before check in time so we can leave the luggages at the hotel and walk around Dom and came back again to complete check in.
