Location was very good. Close to La Pedrera, supermarket and the metro station. The room was very clean and comfortable with a view of the city. The staff was also very attentive.

Centrally located to main attractions. In a quiet street in the Gothic quarter. 5 minutes to the Ramblas 2 minutes from the Cathedral etc. The staff were impeccably trained and extremely attentive without being intrusive or condescending. The hotel was extremely well appointed with unusual features like the rock sculptures you can see under the glass floor which you could walk over in the lobby. Impressive very tall central atrium with a plethora of hanging lights and a sculptured wall. The room was outstanding in size and little touches. Calm colouring - white with taupe/mushroom coloured relief walls covered in linen style patterned paper. Although I had not told the hotel it was my birthday, they obviously picked this up from my passport and sent up a bottle of champage and cake to the room. Little things make a difference!

I booked this hotel for my parents who couldn’t speak English or Spanish, and this is their first time traveling by themselves. Monument hotel assigned car service for my parents between airport and hotel, the drivers are punctual, helpful and very kind. The room is really remarkable ! Location is terrific, pratique for all the famous tourisme sites. My parents enjoyed their trip very much and highly recommend me to stay when I travel in Barcelona. Thank you all !

Excedió mis expectativas. The room was really nice, clean, modern, clean. The rooftop has amazing views of Barcelona. The breakfast was delicious, they had a menu and other food in the buffet. Caffe and water was always available and they even had a wine hour where wine and sangria was free (I don’t drink alcohol and didn’t take advantage) it was walk-in g distance from a lot of the main atratiln plus close to Bus Turístic Stops. I will definitely come back in a heartbeat

+ Breakfast was DELICIOUS! | This was hands-down the best hotel buffet breakfast I've ever had. We're American and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it had both traditional Spanish food like paella, and other food Americans and others may enjoy too, like scrambled eggs. There were delicious cookies and pastries, freshly made juices like carrot with ginger, and so much more. We don't typically reserve rooms with breakfast included because hotel breakfasts can vary so widely (and often be much worse than eating somewhere else), but the minute we saw the selection we knew it was well worth the ~22 euros per person. The breakfast attendant was also really responsive and helpful, but we did feel a bit rushed to pay for breakfast as though he wasn't sure we would. We certainly did, we were just really hungry and had to leave for our flight, but made sure to pay for breakfast during check-out :) + Elite taste and treatment | From the moment we arrived, we knew this chain takes quality, hospitality, and exceptional service seriously - and delivers on it beautifully. The woman who checked us in was very kind and helpful, and the little touches waiting for us in our room like the fresh fruit, bottled water, and well-stocked snacks and beverages were wonderful. And the bed was luxuriously comfortable!
