Everything! Such a great. relaxing and special place to stay. We planned to eat out in Keswick some evenings as we were staying for 3 nights. However we couldn’t drag ourselves away as the food was all fantastic. We also loved the way that dogs were treated. They could go everywhere too. They even had a sink outside for muddy paws with warm water and fresh towels.

Perfect in many aspects. it’s just off the main road, and has a great view. Very nice and welcoming staff. We stayed in the basic double room, good heating system, great water pressure with hot water. We also had a delicious dinner there. They serve some homemade goodies (Their biscuits are delicious). Looking forward to coming back.

Lovely B&B in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Keswick. We were made to feel welcome straight away and were given lots of good recommendations about the local area. Very accommodating at breakfast and the room was cleaned throughout the day. We would definitely stay at Glendale again.

I visit Keswick alot but never heard of this hotel. The property is impeccably well kept inside and out, traditional with a modern take, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel wasn't full so we were upgraded to a bigger room with a better view without asking. If you are after a quiet, well located place to relax and unwind without any hassle, then this is for you.

As soon as we arrived the manager Sue made us feel special and welcomed. The food was superb (one of us coeliac, one of us pescatarian), the restaurant service like a well oiled machine. It was our first visit and we were upgraded to a garden suite room which was recently refurbished and superb. bed was v. comfortable, room was quiet, heating controls were simple but effective. Great to be able to step into the garden from it and watch the squirrels. Relaxing lounge areas. Great to be able to do lovely walks from the door. We will return!

The manager gave us a free room upgrade with it being my birthday (thank you!) which made the stay extra special; the mountain views were spectacular. The junior suite area/ bed were extremely comfortable and the shower was similar to a hydropool shower; so relaxing. The meal service was great, as were the politeness and service of all staff. Everyone was welcoming and went above and beyond. The hotel looks beautiful and is in a brilliant location. Thank you for a lovely stay !

We were upgraded to a suite , compact but lovely. The bathroom and bedroom were clean and comfortable and we had a little sitting room overlooking the lawns. There was a tiny balcony outside the sitting room, if we could have sat out there it would have been amazing. The food was gorgeous and the breakfast plentiful. We went for relaxation and we got it.
