Everything. The location was easy enough to locate, and though a bit of a walk, not bad at all. The road is beautiful, wonderfully decorated and made up. the staff is very warm and helpful, even going so far as to pack a breakfast for us as we had to leave too early. The breakfast at property was good, with the mini chicken pastillas being our favorite pastries in Morocco. Omar especially is very helpful. The hammam at the property also is very clean and very good. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

What an incredible staff! I arrived pretty sick with fever. Everyone was so nice and compassionate. the riad is so beautiful. I couldnt reallly leave as I was sick but I didnt mind because the house is stunning and the common areas are very comfortable! Breakfast is excellent. Since the medina is extremely confusing at first and a car free zone (including motorbikes) I suggest strongly to take a pickup service offered by the riad

I cannot praise Dar Seffarine enough. Though in the medina, it's located in a quiet corner which means it's very intimate and relaxing. The property is absolutely beautiful, with tremendous attention and care given to restoring this riad to it's former glory. Our room was absolutely palatial, with a massive bedroom and large sitting room. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was large with a double sink. The highlight of our trip was sitting down to dinner with other guests and enjoying delectable (and authentic) Moroccan cuisine. Highly recommend Dar Seffarine to anyone looking for a riad within the medina in Fes.

My experience with La casa espanyola was perfect. It’s very comfortable, clean and located in a perfect position, not difficult to find. The room was clean, everything was on point, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The breakfast was unforgettable, good pastries and typical moroccan food. The staff is amazing, Mohamed is the kindest host i’ve ever met. He answered immediately to our texts, found solutions to our problem and was always there to help us, every hour of the day. He was always smiling and caring to his guests, for example he only put background music for breakfast when everyone was awake. He came pick us at the beginning of the street to show us the way and explained us the main points to see.

Nice small (= not noisy) riad with very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfasts were good. We checked-in late and they prepared dinner for us. We felt safe to sometimes leave our children alone in this Riad - they were fed dinner and were taken care of. Staff organized pick-up / drop-off to airport and one small excursion around Fez. They were not pushy at all to sell any services, only what we needed. We stayed in "President" room on the top floor and it was large enough for a short stay with 2 children. Our friends stayed in ground floor two level suite, also big enough for a family. It was more noisy due to facing inner courtyard, but bedroom is more isolated due to split level design.
