Aateli Lakeside Chalets - former Vuokatti Suites are peacefully located by Lake Nuasjärvi. This modern accommodation offers a private beach with a jetty. The nearest slopes are located 700 metres away at Vuokatti Ski Resort, while cross-country tracks are found 50 metres away. Our suite was very modern and clean with a nice view. Hotel responded to messages very fast and friendly. Location was quiet and beautiful. Breakfast was great as well as the sauna building with a pool. We also ended using quite a lot of the complimentary minigolf.

Breakfast at Tertti, at least until now, is the best Breakfast I had in all my life. So exquisite, fresh, and rich. Salmon, different sort of breads, butter, scrambled eggs (special made), different sorts of fish, different sorts of cheese, and much more, the majority of this treats, elaborated by them, at the Kartano (country house in Finnish). Special mention for Tertti's special Porridge which is from another world, so yummy, just for that, its is worth to pay a visit to this establishment. Staff is very kind, helpful, they make you feel as you would be at home, from the receptionists, the waitresses, the gardener, to the owner, who has been so helpful, giving us extra information about our interests on Finland, and always being concerned about our wellbeing. It is located not far away from Mikkeli, a reasonable size city, and at a stone throw of huge forests and lakes.

As you enter by car, there is a feeling of tranquillity and privacy. At reception, we were greeted with sparkling wine and a non-alcoholic version for my daughter. Our room was very comfortable, beds were lovely, and there was a walk-in closet, so our things didn't cramp the space. Breakfast was amazing with lots of fresh fruit, bread made that morning, and American pancakes. The view was spectacular and if it hadn't been raining, there would have been lots of activities to do just at the hotel.
