Pontalaia's guests can relax under a parasol by the swimming pool. The room was very spacious, clean, had a lovely balcony with a view of the pool, a thermostat to set the temperature we wanted in the room. A short walk away from some restaurants and a small grocery store. We had a lovely, comfortable stay.

They have a beutiful garden, full of amazing flowers, and cute exotic pets. Rooms have a lot of personality, very cosy with plenty of interesting objects. It was a delight to stay there! I warmley recommand this place!

Spacious suite of 30 m² with sofas, desk, river view from the entrance to the room and a terrace that matches the rest of the property. Historic area, with all services around. We stayed in the attic room of Gonçalo and Joana's house - super roomy, really comfy bed with great bedding, en suite large shower, welcomed with homemade pastéis de nata and jasmine tea, mini fridge, air con, magazines, comfy settees, books, desk, loads of lighting, ceiling fan... and then had a delicious dinner downstairs in their restaurant. Really want to go back and stay longer!
