Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. This hotel features a rooftop infinity pool, conference rooms, a buffet and an à la carte restaurant and four bars. We had an amazing stay at the hotel.

Guests can use the hot tub while relaxing with the Atlantic Ocean views. Massage services and a gym are available. For the sports fans, the Aqua Natura features a diving centre on site. The natural swimming pools are a few steps away. Stuff was really helpful and kind, location was directly on the ocean front, good wifi, one campagne was prepared in the room as welcome drink , reservable time frames for the sauna and jacuzzy, free entrance to the natural swimming pool , additional towel to the natural swimming pool, as conclusion it was really great to stay here :)

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located in Sítio da Felpa, S. Jorge, Madeira Island. It offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lush vegetation about 50 km from Funchal.

All Proteas’ rooms are heated and have a private bathroom. Some rooms have a kitchenette and sea views, while others have wooden sloped ceilings. Breakfasts were great also the view and the peaceful area. The staff were very friendly and Teresa (the owner) is a very professional and kind person. Totally recommended!

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. It offers 3 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, a Spa and a sun deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the gardens.

The Hotel Baía Azul offers a Spa with an indoor heated pool, a gym, a steam bath, a sauna a relaxation room and 2 massage rooms, where guests can unwind after an active day. Very good location! I was able to start all of my booked tours from this hotel.

The location is close to every attraction in Porto Moniz, has amazing view over the ocean and the room is modern, clean and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and kind, they gave us a free drinks during the checkin, a free bottle of wine in the room during or stay and a souvenir at the checkout. The breakfast was amazing as well, we really appreciated the freshly squizeed orange juice.
