Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. This hotel features a rooftop infinity pool, conference rooms, a buffet and an à la carte restaurant and four bars. Amazing facilities! Awesome location! The staff were very polite and so helpful!! Definetely a place to stay the next time there!

Guests can use the hot tub while relaxing with the Atlantic Ocean views. Massage services and a gym are available. For the sports fans, the Aqua Natura features a diving centre on site. The natural swimming pools are a few steps away. Even in bad weather you can still relax with a view of the sea :) Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Parking at the hotel. The location is also good for trips to nearby levadas by car. We also ordered a massage (standard quality) and ate at a Japanese restaurant (longer wait, but good food). Wifi without problems.

All Proteas’ rooms are heated and have a private bathroom. Some rooms have a kitchenette and sea views, while others have wooden sloped ceilings. The whole place was beautifully decorated and had a welcoming atmosphere. The swimming pool was clean.

The Hotel Baía Azul offers a Spa with an indoor heated pool, a gym, a steam bath, a sauna a relaxation room and 2 massage rooms, where guests can unwind after an active day. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful. And the entertainment and music was a really touch.

All rooms at the hotel feature cable TV, free WiFi and a private bathroom. Despite big hotel we received warm welcome with personal touch (welcome drink, welcome card with my name printed and free bottle of wine). Room was very spacious with all amenities you need and ved was very comfortable. At departure we even received a small gift. Very pleasant stay.

Great welcoming from the hosts, they have been very available during all our stay and shared with us some precious tips and finest addresses to make our stay a success. Last but not least, we could enjoy a superb view on the ocean from the terrace. We definitely recommend this place should you look for an authentic stay in Madeira!

We stayed at Casas de Levada as a family of 4 and loved our stay there. The place is a great combination of charming rustic touches with a modern flair. Our kids loved roaming around the grounds checking out the bunnies and cats. We loved having breakfast in the cute kitchen with the fresh food provided and relaxing by the fireplace at night. Castanheiro Boutique Hotel features a SPA with hydrotherapy pool, sauna, turkish bath,massage rooms and a relaxing area. You will also find a hairdresser's at the property. We loved everything about this hotel! From the arrival where we were greeted with champagne to the wonderful food and bars offered within the hotel to the OUTSTANDING spa staff, we could not have had a better trip. We visited during a 3 day storm so we had plenty of time to use all of the hotel amenities and could not recommend them more. The rooms were spacious, had balconies (for those rare, clear moments) and had modern, clean bathrooms with luxurious showers. While I did not eat at the restaurant for dinner, 6 of our other friends did and absolutely raved about the food. The quality and value, coupled with excellent staff made for an amazing trip. Only a 5-minute walk from so many things to do in Old town and a 10-minute cab ride to the more commercialized, shopping area of town. We would only stay at the Castanheiro hotel again if we return.
