Located in the pedestrian area of the historic centre of Kranj, the 4-star Hotel Actum is a small boutique hotel decorated in a romantic neo-Baroque style. The staff were very helpful and hospitable. Since we had an early checkout they had nicely packed the breakfast for us. The hotel is in pristine condition with all modern amenities. Also, its located in the downtown area and 10 minutes from airport.

It was our last night’s stay before heading home. The hotel was very convenient to the airport. They had an airport shuttle for a reasonable fare and were able to take us over for our early flight. They were very accommodating with allowing us to leave our luggage while we explored Ljubljana before our afternoon check in. The breakfast they provided was very nice.

Hotel Krvavec is situated at 1600 metres above sea level on the popular Krvavec Mountain in Cerklje na Gorenjskem, offering cosy accommodation in front of the ski slopes. Nice rooms and solid food, both breakfast and dinner. Location was perfect, that is the biggest advantage of this hotel, ski in ski out. Great bar outside, in front of the hotel.

We came the last weekend of March and split our time hiking and skiing. Although it was the last weekend for skiing (hence very slushy conditions), the location between the nearby resort of Krvavec and nearby mountains for hiking was ideal. The room was spacious and clean. Although the hotel is on a main street, everything was very quiet. They have a lovely dining room where we had delicious breakfast and dinner. They also have an outside patio that is perfect for Spring and Summer. Additionally, there is ample parking. I will definitely return!
