I really appreciated the fact that this hostel is located in the middle of the city, but also feels very safe and well organized within the hostel walls. The hostel entrance is monitored by staff on a 24 hour basis. The hostel also provides lockers for guests to use. There are multiple bathrooms. The rooms are cleaned and beds changed on a regular basis. It really feels like a sancuary in the midst of a bustling city. Going forward, I expect that this will be my default option if I am looking for a bed in this location.

Luciane dos Santos, in the reception and front desk area, made me feel welcomed from the minute that I arrived and it was a huge plus that she speaks English well. The room had a ceiling fan, which is a nice feature for additional ventilation in the summer heat of Brazil.
