There are only 3 rooms in the building we stayed in, it was nice and quiet. There was a large wardrobe and the toiletries and towels in the bathroom were nicely presented, they had also provided a couple of boxes of tissues. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a small fridge with some drinking water in it and some fresh milk for the tea and coffee (the owner told us later that he supplies fresh milk because he dislikes UHT milk in his own tea and coffee). We stayed for 3 nights and had a superb breakfast each morning. I'm pleased I took their advice and booked an evening meal in advance, the restaurant is very popular. Our meal was so tasty that we booked for the following evening too, that meal was also extremely good. The staff were very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When I was originally booking the room I was concerned about the check-in time because we were going to a gig in Cardiff on the first night and wouldn't get to the hotel until well after the check-in time. However when I mentioned my problem they replied swiftly and arranged a self check-in which went very smoothly. Parking was nice and close to the entrance to the accommodation. We will definitely be booking again next year when we're back in Cardiff.

Beautiful home located by a golf course. Our rooms consisted of a large bedroom upstairs and a kitchenette downstairs. Throughout, everything was immaculate. The property is within walking distance of several eating establishments and about four miles from Cardiff city centre. It’s a short walk to the train station. By chance, we happened to be in Cardiff when King Charles paid a visit so the city was alive and vibrant.

Our host Lisa was very nice. Always up for a quick chat and happy to help or give some advice on what to do. She also makes a nice breakfast to order which gives a great start to the day! The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The location is easy to reach and is only a 15 minute train ride from Cardiff city center.

I found the added security of the room key being needed to access the lift, and the security after 10 was brilliant and reassuring. A great location, right next to the station and near lots of brilliant restaurants and bars. Perfect hotel for a night out or day of shopping.
