central location for visiting the Lake District about 8 minutes to Cartmel for dinner, went to the Cavendish arms , delicious! Breakfast was amazing! Glass of wine on arrival and delicious cupcakes and shortbread for us ! could not recommend more highly , a lovely couple and their dog Lennon !!

Lovely views from a large picture window, bed very comfortable, large bathroom with bath and shower, . Restaurant had a small choice but enjoyed what we had, and sunday dinner was nice also. We were lucky with the weather, so we were able to enjoy drinks in the sun on the terrace. I am very pleased with our stay, and we will definitely book again.
