We were 3 friends looking for a traditional English pub in a small village to stay at near to a few local golf courses to try. The Benett Arms in Semley did not disappoint. Great staff, location and a lovey pub with very comfortable rooms/ The food and drink was excellent with a lovely outdoor space to watch the locals (including a donkey) go by. Recommend the local fresh milkshake dispenser and farm shop. We will be back.

The Studio is a quaint small cottage idea for two people. Its in beautiful countryside, and we enjoyed our stay in this quiet secluded cottage. It was our first visit to Dorset and it was ideal to visit both countryside and coast.

It is an ideal property for travellers, spacious, very clean, quiet and relaxing. Has a spacious garden around it and on site parking. Breakfast is cooked to your specifications and it was delicious and plentiful. It is difficult to find any faults to the property. Central to Shaftesbury, close to stores for groceries, extremely well priced. Highly recommend and would stay again.
