Our flight was delayed so we arrived after the restaurant closed. The owner and his wife made us welcome, even though they had closed for the night. They very kindly opened a bottle of wine and made us a wonderful dinner. Throughout the stay their hospitality was amazing. The owner would not let us walk to the bus stop, instead he very kindly drove us all the way to Sidmouth in his own car! They really could not have done more for us!

The hotel room was just as I expected from what I saw on the booking site. It was well-appointed, had enough tea, coffee, milk, shortbread cookies every day, and water. The toiletries were excellent, as were the towels. The location was perfect - right in town along the sea front. I loved staying there!

We had everything we needed; it was spacious but cosy, the kitchen is really good and there’s plenty of seating to relax on. Location is excellent - a few minutes walk from the seafront and town centre, and in the opposite direction lovely walks.

The property was tucked away in a small street and was very quiet. The walk to the town centre was short and easy. The kitchen was well equipped. The heating system and hot water supply was very good. A cosy and well situated property !!

George and Becca where great hosts, keeping in contact, providing a brochure on local "things to do", pubs and restaurants. The property itself is terraced and provides a really spacious and well equipped outdoor barbeque/entertainment area. Inside, there is a large, well equipped kitchen. The dining and living areas are comfortable and we especially enjoyed the fireplace. Bedrooms were very comfortable. This property is within a 20/25 minute walk of the town (seafront/promenade). Private parking for one car is available. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our nine days at Sid Valley View, highly recommended and we would stay there again, and again.
