Agriturismo Milord met all of our expectations. We arrived to be met by Christiano who showed us to our spacious room. My husband quickly changed and jumped into the pool and I was greeted by Mayer, who wanted a ball throwing session. That evening we drove into Salò and ate at a local restaurant, recommended by Christiano. The breakfast is perfect. The bed is super comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. We enjoyed 3 nights and spent most days sightseeing the area and a boat trip to Sirmione. I bought 2 lovely bottles of olive oil produced from Christiano’s olives and we left with a bottle of wine, as a gift. All in all we had a lovely stay. I can highly recommend if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the lake. We never walked, always took the car to Salò so cannot comment on how long it would take to walk.

Very accommodating hosts, very large suite, with modern furnishings, in an old farmhouse on Sara’s familial property. Our suite has a small kitchen with stove top, sink and fridge. The property is well maintained, and we enjoyed talking to the owners about their garden, growing techniques, etc. He walked us down the path to the lake front, being concerned that we wouldn’t find our way. It is a 10 minute walk down to beautiful lake Garda, with a very nice public beach right there. From the beach you can take an excellent walk around to Salo, an exceptionally beautiful little town. We had a delicious dinner prepared and served by Sara in the garden, on a beautiful summer night.

Our room was bright and clean with a large bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a free car park a couple of minutes away. We used the restaurant at night which felt oldy worldy and fabulous again with the lake and the lights to look at.

We also like the roof top terrace for relaxing in the late afternoon. The manager Felix was exceptional and we also appreciated all the other staff that were also friendly and helpful. Special mention to breakfast staff for being so kind. Felix kindly changed our room for a larger room for the 2nd,3rd and 4th nights. We were so pleased. Being able to use a fridge accessed only by staff.

The kitchen led to a spacious, shared terrace, which was not a problem for us. Fresh fruit, a bottle of Prosecco and something small for breakfast awaited us at the apartment. The apartment is in a quiet location, further from the harbour (approx. 20 min walk), which suited us.
