This was the cutest beach house with a perfect location, right on a channel and a few blocks from the beach. It was very bright, clean and spacious. I loved the deep spa like tub. After our long drive to get here, the first thing I did was fill up the tub and had a nice long soak. AND THE BEDS!!! OMG- Soooooo comfortable. I actually pulled back the sheets to see what the brand name was because I want to get on just like it. I loved the open plan. I could easily chat with my spouse from the spacious kitchen while he watched the game in the living room. The sun room was great for drinking our morning coffee as we watched a few boats head out down the channel. The next time we are in the area we will be renting this home, if it's available.

Breakfast was amazing! Best we have ever seen at a hotel. Outdoor pool was open which we were not expecting. Indoor pool warm, hot tub was nice. Great location. Quiet hotel. Kids enjoyed the cookies at night.

Blue Heron Motel exceeded my expectations. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean, and have all the household item's you'd want at the beach, but don't want to pack for yourself, like a broom & iron. The linens on the bed were comfortable and clean. The private balcony was a favorite feature. 10/10 for cleanliness, hospitality, & views. Will definitely stay again. Nice pools too!

The cottage we stayed in has a covered porch, 2 bed rooms with a full size bed in each room. It has a kitchen with full size stove top/oven and refrigerator, a microwave oven, coffee maker. It has a smart TV. The TV is also connected to a multimedia-box, but the HDMI cable is broken. Fortunately, there are apps on the smart TV that allow us to watch world news and movies, no local news. The property also provide free WIFI, but not very reliable during our stay.

We rented the 2 bedroom unit, rooms were very spacious and kitchen was equipped with everything needed to prepare a meal. Upgrades to beds and floors have been completed since my last visit, this is a great improvement!
