Porthmadog
Situated within Snowdonia National Park, Aberdunant Hall is a 17th-century property set within 200-acres of woodland on an idyllic upmarket Holiday Home Park. With free onsite parking, it retains many original features, such as beamed ceilings, fireplaces and stained glass. Guests can relax in the garden or on the terrace. Staff : Note that our cottage unit was located in a wider "caravan park". Reception service was available and useful. Smooth check in experience. Facilities : Inside, everything was complete and rather new. You will have all you need to enjoy your time there. For kids, there was also small play ground at the park. Hot water running great with good pressure. All top notch. Note that the cottage is located on a step-up hence you will need to take a wide stairs. In our view we were lucky since we got one of the "high" cottage with a wider view of the park. Cleanliness : Clean, and I recognised there was no shortcut taken when clean every inch of the house. Comfort : Bed and the caravan's atmosphere were comfortable and cosy. Value Money : We were travelling during autumn school holiday, and comparing other options around Snowdon, this is considered reasonable. Location : Inside the park and its surrounding - quiet and peaceful. Within Snowdown area, although most things are at least 20-30min away (normal for such a big nature park and area). Hence you must need a car on your own. Others: We are family of 4. Internet was very fast (OK for streaming). We were there exploring Snowdon and its surrounding. Plenty parking spaces. The cottage was 2 storey, hence if you have very small kids, it might not be suitable. Our kids were 4 and 6, they were fine with the steep and small stairs leading to the small 2nd floor.

There was tea and coffee in the room, and the breakfast was amazing! Not just a generic buffet but a proper breakfast! Coming from a different country I was stoked to have experienced some traditional food for breakfast at the hotel. Everyone was very nice to us, and I loved that the house has a history to it.
WiFi was good and fast 😀
I was looking forward to having a bath, and if you're like me, please note that not all rooms have them, and booking doesn't recognise it. Luckily, we got help immediately 😁

Excellent hotel, room was big and lovely, very comfortable like a proper bedroom not a hotel room. Lovely decor and very clean. We had breakfast brought up to our room which was excellent. Staff were all very helpful and friendly,
Our room was upgraded prior to our arrival, the room was large and spacious, very comfortable king bed, breakfast was fantastic, including sausages for the dog and it carpeted throughout for the dog. Fantastic location for exploring snowdonia. Beautiful scenery surrounding you. A selection of dog friendly places in Beddgelert. Staff were friendly.
Great location on the front near the hub of all the attractions. Carpark at the back and plenty of places to eat and drink around. The triple family room we had booked was upgraded to a quadruple which had a sea view and was very spacious . All rooms have large tv and tea and coffee making facilities with plenty of milk which is generally my bugbear. The rooms are wheelchair friendly with wet room access.
Lovely sea views especially from the indoor terrace. Good choice of breakfast foods on the buffet and also option to order freshly cooked eggs and fish or continental cheese and ham. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing hotel. Bedroom nicely furbished in a traditional style. Had a faulty television set in our room but the service engineer was very quick to replace it.
