The view from the room was magnificent. The Onsen was definitely one of the best I ever saw in Japan. It's very much more than just a pool of hot water! Even though staff hardly spoke English, they took the extra mile to understand our requests and meet them. Breakfast was delicious (Japanese stile)

From the beginning till the end, it was an amazing experience ! The host and his family are wonderful people. We slept in a house that has been standing for over 200 years, bathing in history and quietness. We've been served exquisite dishes by the host, whose cooking skills are tremendous. We strongly recommend this ryokan for a unique experience.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The onsen was clean, and the outdoor onsen was a highlight. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were helpful in booking restaurants and taxi when needed. We also enjoyed the karaoke room, and my children liked the video games.
