Each Japanese and Western-style room includes a TV and a private bathroom with shower, free toiletries and yukata robes. The Japanese-style rooms have tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding.

Excellent location, right in front of Nagara- River. You can watch the Ukai boat from your room. Walking distance to the castle and Kinka Mountain. You can see the Gifu Castle from the rooftop bath. Lovely Onsen too. The staff are all attentive and friendly.

I had been cycling in extremely bad weather and she drove me to a local coin laundry shop so I could wash and dry my belongings. She also helped me with restaurants and finding a buddhist onsen to relax my weary muscles. The house is a very high standard and the room was tatami style, spacious and modern. The garden looked wonderful although the weather didn't really permit me to relax outside. If I could score 11 I would!JohnSolo traveller
