It was super cosy and they provide yukatas for you to wear area the property. The Onsen had an indoor and outdoor one, and I really enjoyed it! The dining was amazing, you get a private area for breakfast with everything beautifully prepared (it’s done with so much finesse and love). I highly recommend the dinner Omakase too, it was such a great experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming down to Komagane. You can take the bus from the JR train station and it stops right outside the hotel. Was so happy I chose this place to stay for 2 nights. :)

Very good location, close to a number of location attractions (Kozenji Temple, Lake, Mountain trails) + highly rated local restaurants. The Onsen was nice too. Easy to find. The hotel also offers guided tours to see Flying Squirrels in the evening. It's not a brand-new hotel but well-maintained. Front-desk staff spoke sufficient English to make it work for non-Japanese speakers. Would stay again.
