Perfect stay, modern Japanese style. A beautiful, big room with a very nice rotenburo. Great food. Staff performed perfect omotenashi. Japanese old fashioned style in the best way of meaning, the staff really tried to read our wishes.

The public bath is really good, my muscle get relaxed. Has free shuttle bus to Hanazono and Hirafu, even Kutchan Station, but it depends on snow season till mid of March.

Fantastic staff. The lady at the front desk called to make sure we were ok and guided us to the property. She was very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. It was also exceptionally clean - everything still seemed pretty new.

The premises is a hostel that caters for skiers during Winter. We had the tatami beds in a private room and if we can cope aged 57 and 60 anybody can! It was the cheapest we could find but we enjoyed, aside from the cold showers, but it was cheap in comparison 😀

Boken Kazoku was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was by far the best part. They were kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the area. We loved the dinner we had there as well and the deer in the curry was shot by Ana-san, one of the owners! Very rustic indeed :) The rooms were great though with traditional futons. We had a heater in the room, a lovely view outside, and a nice communal kitchen as well.

Chill atmosphere and nice view on Yotei-san in the common area A lot of space in the bunk bed But the best advantage of this place is the host! Ryo is such a nice person, always ready to help. He drove me to the trails in the mountain and to the onsen Good to know: you can also rent a bike there

The hotel is new, nice and clean. The room designed is excellent. The toilet are new and clean, have more than enough which separate men and women. The common bath room is onsen type separate men and women which everything are Japanese standard. Everything in this hotel are better than we expect.
