It has a buffet-breakfast which is quite satisfactory and they have washing-machines available and the staff is very helpful, able to help with calling taxi-services to pick you up from, for example, a remote onsen.

Very original place, old fashioned, with a very big and very calm dog, a cliché old man and his grandson jumping around, and the owner (i guess), very simpathetic, smiling and helpful with quite a good english. Two onsen in the basement, that you can take privately. (Not super fresh but who cares). A place full of love. You can eat dinner and breakfast, japanese style, and good. Oh, and it's not expensive at all. I recommend 100%.

It has its own car park with ample parking spaces. The staff who served us were very good. The public outdoor onsen was very good. Both the buffet breakfast and buffet dinner were of good quality, with a good balance of Japanese and western food. Our room was in the main building, looked a little old but clean in general.

It's Japanese style with a spacious tatami living room, but with beds in the dormitory, very comfortable sleeping quarters. The toilet is in the garage just next to bedrooms, but there's no sink downstairs. You brush your teeth in the kitchen. There's a small oven and microwave, and tea bags.
