Besides amazing nature views, comfortable rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge and an en suite bathroom. Yukata robes and green tea are provided. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding on the tatami (woven mat) floor. It was very peaceful at night, and I had a beautiful view of the torii. The dinner was excellent. There was great attention to detail, and it was evident that the freshest ingredients were used.
Miyajima
The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Rooms in the Annex include a private bathroom with a bath and toilet, while rooms in the historical Main Building and Cottage Annex have shared bathrooms and toilets. The attention to detail at this resort was impeccable, as was the quality of service. It is perfectly situated, being far enough away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of the Torii gate, the "downtown" area, and the ropeway station for the ride up the mountain. Adjacent to the facility is a picturesque stream with the quintessential red colored pedestrian bridge. Be sure to sign up for the delicious breakfast and dinner; the same meal enjoyed by the heads of state at the recent G7 Summit held here. I will definitely be returning with my spouse to bask in the peace and tranquility of Miyajima.

Yukata robes and a private toilet are included in each room, but bathrooms are shared. The shared bath is available from 16:00 to 23:00. The host made ourselves feel like at home. The room was very cosy. When we arrived she gave us all the tips for visiting the island, including tide schedule. We had private access to the onsen for 1hr for the whole family. The day we left, it was raining heavily and the host gave us a lift to the ferry station in their private car. Lovely stay thanks to great japanese hosts

Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The ryokan features family rooms. From the moment we were first welcomed to this Ryokan we experienced an exceptionally warm, friendly and professional service from all members of the team. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. The private bathroom was wonderful. The restaurant really completed the experience - top quality food complimented (in our case) by a wine pairing. Dinner is strongly influenced by French cooking but with a Japanese twist. We were seated looking on to the open kitched with great interaction with the team of chefs. This was our last stop in our 28 day trip to Japan and was one of the very best. We took the breakfast plus dinner option and for the quality would consider it excellent value. A definite recommendation to anyone

The staff were really helpful, kind and friendly. The Onsen was good. The traditional tatami mat and futon experience was much more comfortable than I had expected, and for a family of four the room was perfect size. The breakfast was unique and delicious.
They have a private Onsen (public bath), which is just for the accommodation guests. Classic Ryokan accommodation, very cute and nice 😍 Comfortable, warm and lovely. Staff extremely nice, friendly and helpful ☺️ It's close to the ferry station.
View out the window to Miyajima was gorgeous. Loved the room with both beds and a futon tatami area. Breakfast was great. Heaps of options, fresh and yummy! Onsen was lovely! Shuttle bus from the station was great and timetabling of it was great for us to get in and out of town.
Amazing room with beautiful view. All the necessary amenities provided (towels, yukata, kettle, hair dryer). Very well maintained room l, clean and comfortable. Spacious with comfortable tatami bedding. Staff very friendly and helpful. They let us leave the luggage after check out. Location perfect yo explore the shrine, hikes and shops around. Definitely want to be back there.
Great and stylish family tatami/futon style room in an equally stylish, spotless new hotel building. Also, very friendly staff :)
Amazing Ryokan, perfect location, food is delicious, room is great, great onsen.
Nice onsen and quiet. Is a unisex public bath house which wasn't clear until you arrived. Lovely so spend the evening on the island and to enjoy some tranquility from the city. Cute gift shop and nice futons too E scooters were a great addition to explore the island.
The hotel itself gives is beautifully designed and gives off a traditional ryokan vibe. The location is perfect and is a great option for those who plan to stay a night. They also provide yukatas and sandals for use around the island. The onsen bath was also very pleasant and I was lucky enough to receive a free room upgrade. Would definitely visit again.
Classic traditional ryokan (Japanese B&B) with an onsen (hot spring). Beautiful place. Immaculate service. I recommend taking half board to enjoy a fantastic elaborated dinner served in the room. The onsen facilities are great and there’s also table-tennis and karaoke 🎤
The place is awesome! Best Ryokan we've been in Japan. The room was very big, the futon very comfortable, and they provide you a very nice kimono! The room was very warm. The lady speaks a decent English. She offers the onsen upon reservation in the morning, and it's very nice. Third floor: common room with view in the entire bay and the pagoda! They also offered us a lift to the pier, since it was raining heavily!
