The staff are exceptional! Room is very comfortable and beautiful. The baths are beautiful as well. It was amazing to also have access to the other 6 famous onsen of Kinosaki, along with the use of Yukata and Geta for the duration of our stay.
The ryokan's onsen was amazing, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, everything was provided and explained to us (yukatas, amenities, tea, crackers...). Location was also great, right next to bus station.
While not a typical ryokan, the location and price are very nice for Kinosaki. The room is very barebones, but the bed itself is comfy. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is nice. The room is quiet, and tucked away from the cafe / street below. You can rent a yukata for free, and they supply you with a rental towel and hand towel for the onsens. If you are planning on just going to any number of the seven public onsens, this is an affordable choice,
Beautiful ryokan experience. The onsen within the hotel was wonderful. Hotel also provided the onsen pass to access the different onsen facilities at Kinosaki onsen with shuttle bus service. The shuttle bus transfer is prompt and convenient.
Adorable staff, nice place, comfortable room and hot spring! Staying here is a wonderful experience in Aroma Onsen.
The decoration is amazing. The place is central. The service is amazing, the people are the nicest. You can choose between different Yukata at your arrival depending of your personal taste to visit the city... ❤️ There is 3 privates onsen you can juste walk-in and lock for enjoying a nice hot bath. (Even if the city is full of it, The private part is pretty nice)
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Dinner and breakfast was served in our room and each item described to us as they were laid out. Our futons were laid out and packed away by staff. The whole ryokan was kept immaculate and we heard no noise at all. Geta, yukata, umbrellas and baskets were provided for going to and from onsens. An onsen pass was also provided from check in to 3pm on the day of check out. We were allowed to keep our towels until this point and our luggage was held after check out.
Loved the onsen and had a gorgeous garden view from our room. Hospitality was exceptional, a wonderful experience. Very clean and an authentic ryokan experience. Also enjoyed the craft beer and provided yukata.
Morizuya is your full all bells and whistles onsen resort stay. The owner is jovial and very eager to please, his staff is kind and cordial, the yukata are soft and comfy, the futon are fluffy the food is plentiful and delicious.
Gorgeous ryokan with good onsens. It was my first traditional Japanese hotel and onsen, so I was very impressed by hospitality, kaiseki dinner, the view, the room with tatami, yukata and hot springs. Totally recommend it!
