I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

Featuring a shared lounge, the 2-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a shared bathroom. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The owner is so nice, fun and friendly! She’s so helpful and will help you get anywhere you need. She will recommend places to go and eat. If you have no plans, she will give you suggestions. If you are travelling alone, it is an especially great place to stay. It feels like you are staying with family. The store owner next door is wonderful too. I highly recommend this place if you want to feel at home. The owner will leave a an egg outside your room in the morning that has been steamed for 10 hours.

The private onsen in the room was exceptional and the size of the room was way beyond. Great service.

One of the MOST comfortable and peaceful stays I’ve ever had in Japan. I had very good sleeps and rests each night in a very comfortable Japanese, tatami style room. I really felt like a childhood home. It was very comfortable. The room was big with it’s own VERY LOVELY porch. Waking up every morning and drinking tea and eating their DELICIOUS breakfast each morning was a joy and I really felt at peace. Assi chan the cat has been keeping me company during my solo stay in the inn. She is THE SWEETEST The bathroom and toilet are not attached to the room but not an issue at all as the place is small and very comfortable and clean I’ve never stayed at a place this HOMEY before. I wish I had stayed longer. I’m definitely coming back to Assi again when I visit Yufuin next time

Guests can use the hot spring bath and the public bath, or enjoy inner courtyard views. It was super comfortable to stay here, staff service, facilities, breakfast and dinner were all great. Is a good place to relax.

Daimaru Besso offers 5-star accommodation with a hot spring bath. The breakfast and dinner were exquisite and the serving staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The futon bed was made to perfection. I would also like to thank this receptionist who is a Korean/American mix (sorry I forgot her name). She is very helpful and explains everything clearly. It makes a huge difference for me who can’t speak Japanese. My stay in Daimaru Besso was very enjoyable and I hope to return back soon.
