Everything was exceptional 👌. Ken made us feel at home. The place is quiet and relaxing. My 89 year old mom enjoyed everything, breakfast, dinner and spending time and also taking photos with Ken. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back to Palmwag , as my mom promised Ken.

There is a lot of natural beauty with stunning views of wolk berge mountains near by and the local wood forests. There is a lot to see and do. At Letaba we did a river boat cruise, saw wild animals that were tamed for the film industry (very well looked after) , ate delicious food, had a local coffee and lunch at Krabbefontein and went to see the Debangeni waterfalls. We also did a cheese-making tour where you can sample several cheeses made at the farm and visited the blueberry farm for blueberry pie. A beautiful place with a view is King Walden with a huge luxurious garden. Overall a wonderful destination to visit. Its also a convenient stop over to use to come back to Johannesburg from the Kruger National Park. Also great value for money. A secret gem for sure!

Not much to say about trip - it was a business trip with a one night overstay. The overstay was underwhelming as mentioned. I would not comment on what else Tzaneen has to offer. I would not go as far as suggesting avoiding Tzaneen as there are some wonderful people and good scenery.
The rooms are extremely elegant and modern. The rooms has a million dollar vibe. Top class finishes and extremely good for value. The staff was exceptional, with invitation to have dinner and reservations. 10/10 communication. Food at the restaurant was 10/10. Other major hotels have a thing or 2 to learn from The Bohemian.
Well done to all the staff at The Bohemian.
I have stayed at over 200 hotels and lodges around the world.
This Guesthouse definitely deserves accommodation of the year award. Just superb!!
My second time here was much better than the first. Stayed in larger rooms a bit further from the main block which was nice. The staff were very friendly and we really appreciated the suggestion to make breakfast packs as we would miss breakfast at the hotel due to an early appointment. The breakfast packs were awesome and dinner the previous was great.
Everything. Check -in was exceptional. Very clean and tidy. Secure parking on site. Near different car garages and shops. Five minutes drive to Tzaneen Mall. Very peaceful and quiet location. Generous, thoughtful kind and a good listener host. Always updating us with loadshedding schedule. I can recommend to anyone who wants to explore Tzaneen.
Location, right in between Tzaneen and Haenertsburg on the mountain top. Overseeing a distant pool of water. Rooms are intimate, well decorated (modern with an industrial look) and sufficiently equipped for most needs. Friendly staff. One of the gents went out to get us ice and we owe him, please give him a raise, love him soooo much please.
We book Palmweg for our employees every time they come to Tzaneen! It is the best, friendliest place in town. I always get the invoice on time and it is an absolute pleasure working with them, even from our head offices in Durban
Andre and Lynette were amazing hosts, they made our stay in Tzaneen that much better. The room was exactly as it was in the pictures, very neat and clean as well. And to end off a perfect stay we had the most amazing breakfast!!!
The location of the hotel is beautiful. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The staff go out their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We loved the fireplace inside each room and at the eating halls.
Paceful location on the banks of the river, very quiet just the sounds of the birds and the river. Very clean and everything provided for a self catering stay
The breakfast was superb, the restaurant staff and hotel receptionists were great. Service was good. The oxtail was not that good but overall food was good
THE VIEW AT THE DINING HALL WHERE WE HAD OUR BREAKFAST. THE CHALETS WHERE GOOD ALSO. THE PARKING AREA AND SECURITY WAS GOOD ALSO. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS GREAT.
