Everything was exceptional 👌. Ken made us feel at home. The place is quiet and relaxing. My 89 year old mom enjoyed everything, breakfast, dinner and spending time and also taking photos with Ken. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back to Palmwag , as my mom promised Ken.

Beautiful, clean and well developed place, the drivers seem to be very friendly and thoughtful people on the road, it’s also very safe but driving there was challenging because of the sharp curves and steep slopes.

There is a lot of natural beauty with stunning views of wolk berge mountains near by and the local wood forests. There is a lot to see and do. At Letaba we did a river boat cruise, saw wild animals that were tamed for the film industry (very well looked after) , ate delicious food, had a local coffee and lunch at Krabbefontein and went to see the Debangeni waterfalls. We also did a cheese-making tour where you can sample several cheeses made at the farm and visited the blueberry farm for blueberry pie. A beautiful place with a view is King Walden with a huge luxurious garden. Overall a wonderful destination to visit. Its also a convenient stop over to use to come back to Johannesburg from the Kruger National Park. Also great value for money. A secret gem for sure!

Tzaneen is great for an escape from the noise in the cities.
Tzaneen is great for an escape from the noise in the cities. It has a lot of places one can enjoy, from Top restaurants, amazing terraces, amazing views, and the fresh air from the greenery that's surrounding the entire town.
From when we entered reception Akani was such a delight and very helpful. We loved his attitude all the way. He assisted with our bags to the room. My friend forgot her shoes when we checked out, so we came back to look for them. While housekeeping was looking for the shoes. Akani took his time to show us the defferent rooms in the hotel . Excellent customer service 👏. Thank you Hotel@Tzaneen
Everything. Check -in was exceptional. Very clean and tidy. Secure parking on site. Near different car garages and shops. Five minutes drive to Tzaneen Mall. Very peaceful and quiet location. Generous, thoughtful kind and a good listener host. Always updating us with loadshedding schedule. I can recommend to anyone who wants to explore Tzaneen.

Lovely rooms with a lovely surroundings and setting, very pretty area to visit ! There is a very convenient restaurant on the property serving fantastic home cooked food, also in a lovely setting. This is a great place to use as your home base when visiting the Tzaneen, Letsitele area. I highly recommend it !
I must say we just discovered a Hidden Gem in Tzaneen. Definitely our holiday spot going forward. We received gud service from Tzaneen White House_ I'd say the best guest house in Tzaneen. The staff is very friendly & willing to go an extra mile. It really felt like home away from home.
Palmwag Tzaneen is a very nice guest house with traditional style rooms in a relaxing, natural environment with a large pond. Chickens wander around freely. Ken and Celia are great hosts, who are ready to answer your questions and help you whenever necessary. The food was also great.
If we ever visit Tzaneen..white house lodge is a place to go,its quite and amazing. They treated us so well and we really enjoyed our visit, just struggled a bit with transport but rather that we had a great time👏🙌🙌
The location of the hotel is beautiful. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The staff go out their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We loved the fireplace inside each room and at the eating halls.
Everything was perfect, right from cleanliness to location to service. A special mention of Alistair who was very helpful in whatever we asked for. Strongly recommend this property for those visiting Tzaneen.
The location really gives a feeling of comfort, peace and tranquility. Excellent landscaping, very clean swimming pool and a dam nearby. State of the art reception area and restaurant.
The rooms have aircon.
The property is secluded, in the nice Tzaneen bushes, exquisite design, beautiful and loss of words for the owner. She is a spectacular person, beautiful, caring soul.
Soon the location and polite staff will be the only one good things to say about this hotel. The condition of thuer building and hotel rooms is fast deteriorating
Management and staff pay close attention to the needs of guests. Rooms are clean, well decorated and are very spacious.. All-round best guesthouse in Tzaneen.
Paceful location on the banks of the river, very quiet just the sounds of the birds and the river. Very clean and everything provided for a self catering stay
THE VIEW AT THE DINING HALL WHERE WE HAD OUR BREAKFAST. THE CHALETS WHERE GOOD ALSO. THE PARKING AREA AND SECURITY WAS GOOD ALSO. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS GREAT.
The house is located on an avocado farm in the rolling hills outside of Tzaneen and is a perfect stop over between Johannesburg and the northern KNP camps
