Adrift Apartments, hotel in Yamba

The units are close to all the shops and some of the Yamba beaches. That's great if you want to wander in to get a coffee, or have a meal and not worry about driving. We love Pippi Beach, on the other side of Yamba, which we just drove to. We now find several places we used to stay in, on the Pippi Beach side, are too expensive. Adrift is excellent value, especially compared to The Sands. We didn't get to meet any staff but everything was accessible and texts were quickly responded to, thank you, Sue.

When i visited Yamba is was hammering down with rain which i guess is unusual. It made my short stay a bit bland as the beach was off and the town was very wet. However, i noticed two very busy restaurants, a nice little collection of shops and takeaways. a few drinking holes etc. Id say when the sun is shining it looks a 100% more appealing. Im told the surfing is great but not my thing. wortha visit if youre a surfer or just travelling up the coast. lots of waterways, pelicand, wildlife. Its just off the highway so easy access and when youre there you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere so that works! Worth a trip for 2-4 days in my opinion.

Lovely place to spend a week or more for a summer holiday. Local restaurants are varied and offer good quality food and service. Golf Club offers a championship layout and the bar and eatery ate excellent. A visit to the boutique brewery - eatery (The Wobbly Chook) is a must.

Yamba is the most delightful place, I would live there if I could. Everything is so convenient. Restaurants are great, and I very rarely come home without a new pair of shoes - the shoe shop is excellent.

Yamba is lovely, beaches, fishing, golf, there is plenty to do . Be very careful where you stay , that is the key. The sands is great, be wary of the Cove, please note they are owned by the same organisation, I am just being honest.

I only stayed overnight on my way from QLD to VIC so didn't get to see much of the town. It seemed like a nice little seaside town though and would have loved to be able to stay longer to explore it.

Great little house, absolutely everything we needed, nicely furnished with plenty of space. The kitchen/ outdoor area was really lovely for family meals and downtime. Oh and knives that actually cut! That was a real surprise, we usually travel with our own kitchen knives, knowing that holiday rentals usually have dismal kitchen bits. That was a lovely surprise. We loved being so close to town, and a nice walk to yambas beaches. Will definitely be staying here again

The apartment has lots of room and the furnishings are very comfortable. The kitchen has almost everything I needed for self catering. ( I always have a few extra things like a stove-top coffee maker and a large pan for cooking pasta.) The hosts, Jacqui and Charlie gave a warm welcome. While I didn't need any assistance during my stay at Club Yamba I felt that they would have done their best to resolve any problem if I had encountered one.

Location, location, location. Perched on the hill in Yamba, the hotel delivers on views and access to the beach. While the rooms are very basic (the bunk bed one was) it’s hard to get past the view in morning of the sun rising over the Pacific Ocean. Shared bathrooms are clean and basic, but you’re not paying for 5 star facilities either. A plus is the bar / restaurant downstairs and that view …… Worth it for that alone!

Secluded woodland site but close to Yamba beaches and shopping centre. Early morning bird chorus softly awakened us for a quiet cup of tea when no other guests had arisen for breakfast or to use the pool. The Cunjevoi Restaurant has a good wine list, interesting boutique beers and the prices of food and drinks was at the upper end of acceptable. Not much different to that charged in any Australian regional town.

The location was great and the house had plenty of space for us all. We ate mostly at the accommodation and used all the kitchen facilities as well as the laundry. It has just about everything you need which is fab! The staff at First National were great at handling everything and were always friendly when I spoke with them. Nothing was a bother and that was appreciated!

I love the location of this motel, a few steps to the marina, the cute pool which was so welcome after a 9 hour drive, and the comfy, clean and spacious rooms. They have everything you need and it was perfect for me as a solo traveller! Staff are a joy and so friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to the main shops and restaurants of Yamba. I'll definitely be back!

Spacious apartment, with a fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor sitting area that is enclosed with flywire. The staff recommended visiting the Angourie Rock Pools, and having a drink at The Pacific Hotel to watch the sunset, and then dinner at El Ocaso, with fantastic Italian food.

Location is excellent, good views and close to the beach and central Yamba. Unit was very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and offered us the manager's parking spaces as the parking is very tight and our spaces were hard to access.

More like a mini resort than a motel. Particularly loved the bbq area, plus the fact cooking oil and salt & pepper provided. The manager, Chontelle, was extremely helpful and went out of her way to assist.
