The apartment was in a very central area of the old town and just a short walk to the Schloss which was very interesting with beautiful gardens on the lake. Lieblingsnest apartment was very comfortable and well equipped but the bedroom was very cramped and had too little airflow. It really needed a ceiling fan. There were too many doors for such a small space.

Unexpectedly beautiful city. A lot of old and well kept houses, and a very extravagant castle. Unfortunately not all of the city is well kept, but the overall impression is good. There are several nice restaurants, and the Christmas market is very nice. The city also have a lot of shopping opportunities, including shopping centers. Beware that the shopping centers have very few elevators and toilet facilities.

A very pleasant and picturesque city in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with good rail services for exploring the remainder of the state. There is a good range of shops, restaurants and bars. Great city to relax a bit. The lake is nice and also the city and the castle were a super cool visit. Many shopping and restaurant options. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to detach a bit from the etic lifestyle of the city. Would stay between 1 and 3 days.
